Louis: dad / liam: papa

Age: 14

Yelling Yelling Yelling that is all that came from downstairs from your dads arguing the 100th time this month, you were tired of it all you wanted to sleep peacefully you wanted your family back together but you knew that wasnt happening anytime soon, the yelling soon started to get louder, you were scared, all you knew was that you had to get out of there, you grabbed the backpack from the corner of your room and grabbed a blanket, a bottle of water, a snack, and your phone you turned your phone on to check the time, it was 3 in the morning to late for yelling to early to be up, you walked over to your window and dropped your backpack down before going to the branch near your window and crawling down it jumping down, you grabbed your backpack and ran, you knew where you were going, but you ran as fast as you could trying to get out of the view of your home, you finally found yourself at the place you havent been in years, the cemetery, you walked right through and found the one you were looking for you set up dropped your backpack and took out your blanket, you sat down, back against the tombstone, blanket wrapped around your legs and you looked at the tombstone gently rubbing it with your hand and looking at the stars "hey mom," you said barely above a voice, your mom had died from when you were 10 from a car crash, you were crushed, you were taken by aunt until the funeral, a week after you were put into foster care, you layed in bed every night and cried you never left your room you missed her until one day you were adopted by your dads, liam and louis, you started to become the happy 10 year old you used to be but you never forgotten your rock your best friend your mom, you kept her in your heart and knew she wouldnt want you to be always dwell on her death you knew she would want you to live your life and be happy, ever since you havent visited her so you thought tonight would be perfect you were craving her presence , spirit or not, "how are you mom?" You asked looking over at the tombstone "i know your probably upset i have come to visit, but im here, and im gonna visit as much as i can," you said as you felt a wave of cool air hit you like she was responding, "i got adopted mom, by two lovely men, they are amazing dads a girl could ask for," you said slightly smiling, once again you felt the cool air hit you "but no parent no father no mother will ever compare to you, you were the best mom best friend a mom could ask for," you said feeling the tears brim your eyes "i miss you," you croaked with tears running down your face as you looked back up to the stars, before you spoke back up, "you know i still sing that song from when i was 5 you sang me to sleep with, the one you wrote, i know it sounds cheesy but its like a part of you is still here when i do," you said chuckling slightly before singing it once again quietly to yourself

" have died every day
waiting for you
Darlin' don't be afraid
I have loved you for a
Thousand years
I'll love you for a
Thousand more"

You sobbed quietly to yourself tears streamed down your face as you look down and back up again before continuing some of the song

"And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more"

You sang the last part barely above a whisper, you sat there in comfortable silence looking at the tombstone, time went by when you checked your phone, it was 4am you sighed and got up wrapping the blanket and putting it back in your backpack, you grabbed your water and backpack "well i should get going before dad and papa see im gone and start to worry, i love you mom, i love you so so much, i miss you, ill see you soon ok?," you said your voice becoming hoarse as more tears streamed down your face, you pressed your fingers to your lips, kissing them and then placing them on the tombstone you looked at it for a minute before leaving the cemetery and heading home.
