"So what is it you are doing, father?" Kid asked.

"Well kiddo, there is a new bank robber in town and I was talking to Spirit about it." says Lord Death.

"Really... Has anyone been assigned for this?" Kid questioned.

"Well son, lucky for you Maka didn't want the mission and Black * star said he was too good for it" He said "So fire away when ever she next strikes."

Lord death dismissed Kid from the Death room so he could focus on one thing.

He soon met up with Liz and Patty so they could discuss the mission.

" What's up kid?" Said Liz lazily.

"The sky" Patty said as she bursted into laughter.

"Patty stop fooling around, we have a mission to take out this new bandit in the town." Kid says annoyed at Patty.

"Sorry Kid, But I wanted a quick laugh." Patty says looking down.

While Patty and Kid were talking, Kid noticed that Liz was pretending to shoot things with her hands.

"Well, we are to strike as soon as bandit attacks." Kid said trying not to look at how immature Liz was being.

As soon as he stopped that sentence his phone went off- The bandit was making a move.

And quick,  it almost made him start to panic.

He didn't expect it to be this early. Kid summoned his skateboard, and since they were outside he was ready to go.

"Liz, Patty weapon forms we're starting our hunt." ordered Kid.

"Okay." said the sisters as a pink smoke came up as they turned into pistols.

Kid rushed to the scene to find the Bandit and starting shooting to try to stun them.

"Kid, I was doing some research, the bandit is called, Death run." said Liz in a serious tone.

"Is that so, Death run. That is interesting." Kid said as if this was child's play.

"Kid they call her that because anyone and everyone that tries to stop her, always comes back dead, badly hurt, Or she outruns them." says Liz.

"Well is that so, Liz? She must have never came across a reaper so we have a better chance." Kid says as he continued to chase after her.

She was crazy fast, even for his skateboard, she wore all black and had a (h/c) ponytail in the back, Kid also saw that she had a white skull on her back.

"Liz, I think we have a problem..." Kid said losing some of his confidence.

"Uh-Oh, what is it Kid. Do you think that the story of Death Run is too much for you, and you can't take her on?!" says Liz smirking.

"No I think she's a Reaper, there's a White skull in the middle of her back, it has to be a mark of the Shinigami" Kid stated.

"Or she could just have a White skull on the back of that hoodie she's wearing, and you're not focused?" Suggested Patty.

"That must be it. Thanks Patty." Kid accelerated on the skateboard, matched her speed, and started shooting.

He saw that he missed a few times, But one bullet hit her in the back, That made her trip and fall.

He saw his Opportunity.

He lowered himself down the ground put her hands behind her back and held them and started walking back to the Academy.

"Liz, Patty I want a gun on her at all times till we reach my father." Kid said.

Then he heard the girl mumble something, then soon realized she said sorry.

"Who are you sorry for Death Run?" Kid asked interested.

"Sorry.....Not sorry" she said.

Her voice, It sounded sweet and innocent, yet about in her early 18's of age.

That threw him off.

Then she started to move her hand into a fist, He could feel her heart racing.

"Liz, Patty She's doing something! Any idea's what?" Kid asked.

He could feel a smirk, then her hand turned into a blade and she broke out of his grasp, and started to run again.

He started to run after her, and he soon had Liz and Patty in his hand's.

He shot both her legs.

She started to stumble a little bit then she threw something on the floor.

Next thing he knew a black smoke filled the air, and when it was gone....So was Death Run.

He walked back into the death room in defeat, but had some information now.

"Father I'm back." Kid stated still thinking about Death run.

" Good." Said lord death, he looked around then gave Kid a look.

"And she is... where?"

Kid gave an uneasy look and then spoke "Well she was able to get away but, I did get information on her." Kid said staring up at his father.

"Kid, I need that bandit NOT in- Did you say, her? As in, Death Run is in fact a girl?" Lord death said in a curious tone.

" you shall make up for this for the next time she strikes. I expect her to be in your control." Says lord death "And not, somewhere other than the death room. Do I make myself clear?" He added.

Kid has never seen this side of his father, Not even as a child.

"Yes Father, but I want to ask something." Kid said, understanding he messed up but, still curious.

" Yes, Kid?" says Lord death with a sigh.

"I have reason to believe that Death Run is a reaper, is that true?" Kid asked hoping to get a true answer.

" What gave you that impression?" lord death says with a chuckle.

"Well you know how I have these three white strips in my hair. Well, she had a white skull on the hoodie that she was wearing." Kid answered his father's question.

"No kid, she's not a Reaper, That's just her symbol. Did you not see the detail of wind for death run?!" said lord death.

"No, I only saw the skull and I swore it was in her hair or on her hoodie." Kid stated worried to get yelled at again.

"I told you it was just her hoodie" whispered Patty with a giggle.

"Patty we can't overlook the fact it can be in her hair." Kid whispered back.
