Ch. 20

~Pete's POV~
"Haha, Trick you have to actually hit the note for it to count you know." "Shut up Pete, this is actually quite hard." Laughing again I stood up to help Patrick cause at this rate he was losing big time. I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him close to my chest so I could play for him. "Here let me help you," I whispered into his ear and started to play for him. "Pete I'm almost positive that's cheating, even if Daddy's bad at the game." Andy quickly glanced over at us to see what Bee meant. "I call cheats!" "Shut up Andy, Stump needs the help plus we already know who is gonna win." Joe stated before walking off to get what I assume was a beer.

~Patrick's POV~
After Bee beat us all I looked at the time to discover it was almost 1 in the morning. "Ok Bee time for bed we have a flight in a few hours." "But Daddy I'm not tired, in fact I like never sleep can't I just stay up with you guys?" "Wait Bee, what do you mean you never sleep?" Pete asked her, but I knew I was thinking the same thing as him. "Well, I don't know for sure but I think I may have some insomnia." "What do you mean, you don't know for sure?" "For as long as I can remember I've never really needed sleep I don't end up falling asleep till almost 5 in the morning and then I wake up at around 8 every day sometimes earlier. My family didn't really know about it and the people at the orphanage didn't care, plus it's never bothered me." "Trick, I think you should take Bee in to see a doctor about insomnia medication when we get back tomorrow. Bee I know it's hard to sleep with insomnia but for me it helps when Trick sings. Could we sing you a lullaby or sorts?"
