Chapter 43

----Brianna's POV----
I've been sitting her for about five minutes and Hunter still hasn't showed up. Is he going to ignore me?

I hope not. Because I'm trying to make things right.

It's dark and I don't like the dark. I get up and start to leave when I see someone running towards me.

"Wa-wait! Don't le-leave!" a breathless Hunter shouts. "I thought you wasn't gonna come" I say, when Hunter gets closer. "Sorry, I didn't see the message until just now, I was taking a shower" he explains, while trying to catch his breath. "It's fine, so..." I say. "What did you want me here for?" he asks.

I take a deep breath.

"I'm sorry I didn't believe you, I should have known that you would do anything like that. It's just, I don't know, I guess I believed Jayla and Weston because I needed a reason to not answer you after you asked me out" I blabber.

I'm not very good at apologies.

"It's fine, so Um, did you not wanna date me?" he asks. "Ye-yes I d-do, bu-" I stutter but get cut off by Hunters lips.

I haven't felt his kiss in forever. His lips are so soft.

"Wow" I say when he pulls back. "Sorry" he says. "I love you Hunter-" "I love you to" he says cutting me off again.

I wish he would let me finish my sentences.

"But I'm not sure if it's a good idea if we date" I say. "Why?" he asks. "I don't know, I just have this feeling that our relationship won't go well if we do" I tell him. "Please, just give me a chance, I really love you and I want to be with you, please" he begs. "Let me think about it tonight and I'll tell you my answer tomorrow" I say. "Okay" he says.

We leave the park and walk home together.

"Bye" he says when we get told my house. "Bye" I say. I turn around to walk inside, but then Hunter grabs my wrist, which kinda hurt.

"Sorry" he says realizing that he hurt me. "It's fine" I say. "Please make sure you think about us tonight" he says and kisses me again with passion. "O-okay" I say after his lips pull apart from mine.

I wish he would of kept kissing me.

"Goodnight, Hunter" I smile. "Goodnight, Brianna" he says and I walk inside, shutting the door behind me.

I can't belive he kissed me, twice, tonight. Best night ever!

"Where were you?!" my dad shouts. "At the park" I say smiling. "With who? And you better not say Hunter" he says. "Why don't you like Hunter?" I ask. "So you were with him!" he shouts again. "Yes I was" I say. "Your not aloud to hang out with him, especially at nine o'clock at night" he says. "We just talked" and kissed.

I probably shouldnt tell him that though.

"I thought he hurt you, why are you even talking to him?" my dad asks. "Because he didn't hurt me, I was just stupid and didn't trust him" I say remembering what I did.

I regret telling Hunter all those cuts was his fault. I made him feel so bad when he didn't do anything to me.

"Your grounded!" he shouts as I walk up the stairs. "Fine" I say and throw him my phone.

I'm pretty sure I heard it break, but oh well, I'm not getting it back for a while. Especially since my dad knows that I'm talking to Hunter again.

----Hunter's POV----
Yes! We're talking again! I'm so happy!

I hope she says yes. Hopefully those kisses convinced her to say yes.

Her lips were so soft. I haven't felt her lips in forever and tonight I got to kiss her twice.

I check my phone to see if I got a text from her.

I do.

Brianna: Leave me alone and don't ever talk or look at me again

What?

Me: What, why? Was it to soon to kiss you? I'm sorry

Brianna: Yes, now delete my contact, forget about me, and don't bother me

Me: Why did you talk to me again, you convinced me that you actually loved me

Me: I know that sounds really girly but I love you and you led me on

Brianna: I just wanted to hurt you like you hurt me

Me: What, how did I hurt you?

Brianna: I just texted to tell you to leave me alone and never talk to me

Me: OK fine whatever

I'm not going to leave her alone. I know she doesn't really mean it.

I love her and I'm not giving up on us.
