chapter 7

I continued writing down lyrics in my notebook while everyone sat around bored. We hadn't had a gig in a while so there wasn't much to do.

"Hey guys guees what!" Ino cheerd. We tunred are attention to her. "My dad knows a guy who knows a guy who signs record labels and he wants us to perform for him and he might sign us" we all shouted and smiled.

"So he wants us to perform this weekend and I heard the guy is a sucker for sad love storys songs so our best bet is to do a song like that" I nodded and started to come up with idea's for the song.

"Imagine if we did gey signed we'd be like crazy famous!" Naruto yelled kiba laughing with him.

"We have to make this our best performance yet then" temari said in a serious tone. "Relax woman we always pull through somehow" Shikamaru said through a yawn.

"But we shouldn't take any chances either" a vein popped from her head. "Temari is right we should get a lot of practice in if we want to show this guy we have what it takes" Sauske added.

"Sakura I'm sure you can handle the song writing as per usual?" he asked. I nodded with a cheeky smile. "Don't worry about me I'll have the song done in no time" I replied.

At home I started thinking on how fun it would be to be signed our own record label. I wasn't going to let them down.

Now what was it that Ino said sad love story. I came up with a few lyrics and from there created a song. It wasn't such a sad love story or anything but I know we could work with it. Sauske could easily come up with the instrumentals so I could be at ease for now.

Before I knew it the weekend came and it was time to show the guy what we were made of.

"Kay guys even if we don't get signed we still tried our best no hard feelings" Sauske said in our inner circle.

"I'm not settling for anything less!" Naruto yelled. Sauske rolled his eyes but smikred. "Stupid dobe" he mumbled. "Let's do this!" kiba fist pumped. We all did a 'yosh' sound and got to our positions.

Kiba started up with guitar hard and fast.

Today was the worst day, I went through hell

As I began to sing I made sure to make my voice come out powerful than usual and put in a lot of emotion into it. I saw the man who was suppose to be a record signer and made sure his stare wouldn't make me nervous. I took it as a sign that I needed to work harder.

Two months away from you but I couldn't tell
I thought that everything was gonna be just fine

The song actully didn't have that much of a connection with my life. I just came up with it with some left off mixed of emotions I had in me.

I liked the lyrics though. I felt like maybe this could relate to other people who have felt this way.

There were no errors in our performance so far and I even danced to it. Even Sauske was getting into it. He was probably pumped for his guitar solo to come.

I watched in amusement at Sauske's guitar solo. He even got down to his kness.

The song ended with the final guitar scene and we heard a clap. It was from the man who we wanted to do our best with. He gave up a thumbs up "You're getting a record" he finished.

We all stayed composed but behind the curtain we started screaming and hugging.

"This is so awesome imagine when we go on tour!" Ino gushed. "Imagine we'll have fan girls like Sauske!" Naruto said to kiba. They laughed together while we sweatdropped.

We turned our heads when we heard a cough. "So tommrow come to the recording studio so we can get that album ready oh and call me Gai" he said. We nodded and he left.

"Our very first album this is going to be so awesome!" kiba yelled. After a long day of celebrating we all went our separate ways.

I couldn't sleep with all the emotions I had. I heard a knock on my window. It was Sauske. I opened it up and he got in. "What are you doing here it's so late" I said sitting on my bed.

He sat next to me but layed down hands behind his head. "I can't go to sleep I'm so excited" I smiled at him. "Me too" I said while laying next to him.

"Hey Sakura" I turned my head. "Yeah?" I asked. "Thank you" my eyes got wide he put his hand on the top of my head running his fingers through my hair.

I bit my lip and spoke "I think I remember what I wanted to say last time" I blushed. "Oh really then" he sat up and looked at me. I sat up as well and he finished. "Tell me next time" he poked my forehead as he spoke. He smiled at me and left through the window and I touched my forehead wondering what that had meant.
