-Ashton-

Weeks of going to the mall and buying clothes and selling clothes and going to the gym took forever, but in the end it was all worth it.

I was built and looking sexy as hell.

Okay let's be honest here I don't and will not ever think that about myself but that's what Calum, Minnie, and Michael tell me.

"Time to seal the deal Ashton." Calum grins, strolling into my apartment.

The last thing.

A haircut.

"Do we have to?"

"We're all going out tonight and Luke's going to be there. It's the final part of step one. Come on Ash. It's not going to be that bad." Calum tries to convince me.

"Fine." I frown, getting off my couch and following Calum back out of my apartment and downtown to the hairdresser.

"What would you like today?" The hairdresser asks.

"Give him whatever he needs to be sexy." Calum tells her.

"Impressing a girl?" She asks, starting to wash my hair.

"No, a boy actually." I say, blushing.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! My brother is actually engaged to a boy, so I'm not homophobic at all." She awkwardly laughs.

"It's okay." I say, and she continues to do whatever she's doing.

...

After the hairdresser was done, she gave me all the hair products I would need and I payed the bill.

I really need a raise.

Then me and Calum went to the gym one more time before we got ready to head out to Luke's house.

Tonight Luke's hosting a college-type party at his house, like usual, and I'm praying that I won't walk in on him and Alycia doing the do again like last time.

"Hey guys!" Luke greets Calum, Minnie, Michael, and I as we walk into his house, Alycia clinging to him like a slutty koala bear.

"Hey Luke." We all reply, going further into the party.

I sigh, heading for the kitchen and grabbing a beer.

I always seem to drink when I'm around Luke, and I don't think that's a good thing.

Luke walks into the kitchen, grabbing the beer from my hands.

"Hey!" I protest.

"Yeah, I'm not letting you end up like last time. Ash, you need to tell me why you're drinking. I don't want this to turn into a serious problem." Luke says, pouring the beer down the drain.

"It's not a problem. Chill out Luke." I say, trying to grab a new beer.

"Ash, seriously." Luke says, smacking my hand away from the beer and dragging me up to his bedroom.

"What's wrong." Luke says, crossing his arms and locking the door behind him.

"Nothing Luke, I already told you, now let me go downstairs and get drunk like every other person at this party." I huff.

"Ash, you know you can tell me anything, I'm your best friend." Luke persists.

"I'm not telling you until the time is right, now just let me leave Luke." I beg.

"When will you tell me then?" Luke asks.

"Give me a year. Then I'll tell you. Okay? Now let me leave." Luke moves away from the door, unlocking it, and I hurry out.
