These steps are all going out of order, I thought I was supposed to only interact with Luke to do the steps, but instead I'm sleeping with him.

At least he's not here right now, so I can think about this whole thing.
Step 3, flirt with Luke.

The next step is to take Luke out on a date.
I think I need more flirting for that.

Speaking of my job, I should probably go... my shift starts in 5 minutes.
Oh shit, my shift starts in 5 minutes.
I run through my apartment, grabbing my keys, phone, shoes, and putting on the appropriate shirt before rushing out to my car to go to my job at the local coffee shop.
"Ashton, finally." My boss, Jim, lets out an exasperated sigh.
"Sorry Jim, I've just been really preoccupied so I forgot. I'm on it though." I say, hopping behind the counter and getting my apron.
"You better." Jim remarks, going to his office.
I laugh to myself, plugging my phone into the cafe's sound system and turning on my spotify playlist.
Figure Me Out by The Summer Set started to play, and I bob my head to the music while waiting for a customer to come into the store.
I hear the bell on the door ring, and I glance up to see that it's Calum and Minnie.
"Hey Ash!" Minnie smiles, coming up to the counter holding Calum's hand.
"Hey Min, Cal." I say, starting a new order. "What would you guys like?"
"Large pumpkin spice latte and a large black coffee." Minnie says, and I put in the order.
"That'll be 9.47." I read, and Calum swipes his credit card.
"Have you talked to Mike recently?" Calum asks as I hand him the receipt.
"Um, he was at my place yesterday morning, but left saying something like "text me when you come to your senses" whatever that means." I shrug.
"Shit," Calum's eyes widen. "Ash, you fucking idiot. Minnie, stay here, get the drinks and knock some sense into Ashton's head while I go check on Michael." He rushes out of the coffee shop, a confused look on Ashton's face.
"Are you so into Luke that you forgot about your own best friend?" Minnie asks, a look of disgust on her face. "Ashton, don't you remember? Loosing friends is like a trigger to Michael. He probably went home sobbing and got his razors out and fuck, Ashton, Michael could've committed suicide yesterday and you don't care." Minnie says, shaking her head.
I open and close my mouth repeatedly, not knowing what to say.
"Drinks for Minnie and Calum!" One of my co-workers yells, Minnie taking the cups from him.
"Seriously Ashton, not everything is about you these days. You aren't the center of our universe. It wasn't like this any of the times when Michael went to the hospital, or when Calum and I started dating. You aren't more special than any of us are, and just because something exciting is happening in your life doesn't mean that nothing exciting is happening to us. You need to open your eyes and stop being so focused on a stupid boy, Ash. Please." Minnie rants, leaving the counter and going to sit down, taking her phone out of her pocket and texting someone, probably Calum, frantically.
"Rough week?" Jim asks.
"You're telling me." I laugh weakly.

this is the first chapter since the step one part one without luke in it so woah cool
it's been forever since i've updated this book and i've been just majorly lacking in inspiration for this book so sorry ugh
i'm also really busy with school and volleyball and i do all my homework during my study and i procrastinate and guys guess what i have friends omg shocker
