Chapter 4: dinner,prison and goodnights?

Blair's P.O.V.

I started to get ready for dinner with the Collins later tonight. I took a shower and got out I already picked an outfit earlier it was a pair of high waisted dark- washed  shorts and a white tank top and a black blazer. I slipped into those clothes and did my hair I blow dried it and braided it my hair is quite long so I set it on my right shoulder to add a little bit more style after that I got my phone (I barely wear makeup I like to stick with natural beauty) and went down

When I got down I went to the kitchen and I saw my mom making some pesto and steak and some other fancy food stuff.

"Um... Honey I don't think it's a good idea to wear some shorts tonight" mom said while holding her laughter in

" why mom it's summer anyways and we're only gonna have dinner" I said confusedly

"Blair I know it's summer but we're in Canada it's quite cold you know " my mom said laughing

"Fine mom I'll change" I said while climbing up the stairs

After about 10 minutes I already found an outfit. It was dark washed skinny jeans, a short white flowy tank top and black boots (just like Camila Cabello's outfit in IKWYDLS music vid if you're part of the Mendes army you'd understand).

After changing I heard the doorbell ring I slip on my shoes and went downstairs.

When I got down I saw the Collins family and my parents in the living room I rushed towards the living room and everyone was staring at me.

"Good evening" I said nervously

I didn't even know why I was nervous maybe because if I did something stupid  Mr and Mrs Collins might not want to be partners with my parents anymore and my family will think I'm a big disgrace or much worse they will think I will not be good enough for Jayce, wait what why is that worse?! Why brain, why?!

"Oh you must be Blair, hello" Mrs. Collins said

"Oh....hi....um....yes I am nice to meet you Mrs. Collins" I said shyly

"Oh dear don't call me that, call me Chantal" she said politely

"Oh....ok...umm... Chantal" I said with a smile

" and I'm Kyle Miguel Collins III" Mr. Collins said like he was introducing to the maid of the house or something

"Oh I'm just teasing sweetie you can call me Miguel" he said with a nice and friendly smile

Mr. and Mrs. Collins are both pretty and handsome now I know where Jayce got his good looks oh and Jayna too.

"Nice to meet you um...... Miguel" I said with also a smile

"Hi Blair" Jayna said

"Oh hi Jayna, hi Jayce" I said

"Oh I see you met our kids" Chantal said

"Um...yes we met earlier" I said

"YOU met us earlier but we already know you" Jayna said

"What? How?" I asked politely while sitting down to one of the single couches
