Chapter 16

Skyler's POV:

Brooke had texted me as soon as Harry told her he loved her.

<Harry loves me Skyler! What happened, did you guys break up?>

<Ya...he really loves you and he told me so we broke up so he could be with you.>

<You did this for me?>

<Yeah, so how are you holding up?>

<Fine, I guess. I just miss him so much.>

When Harry had gone to rhe hospital to meet up with Brooke, she was there visiting our best friend Brandon. When Brooke got there he was dying because he had gotten into a horrible car accident. A huge semi truck had been driving on the wrong side of the rode and drove straight through the front of his car. He should have died right then, but he suffered for 3 hours before he finally died.......in Brooke's arms.

<He kissed me Skyler!>

<Oh my gosh really!>

I was trying to be happy for her, but I had known Brandon for as long as I can remember. A tear ran down my cheek.

"Are you okay?" It was Niall.

"I don't know Niall."

"What happened?"

"My-" I choked on my own words and started bawling.

Niall ran over and sat down next to me and put his arms around me. I just cryed into his shoulder as he just continued to hug me and rub my back. I got goosebumps every time he touched me.

"Shhhh, it's going to be okay. Shhhhhh."

"Niall, my best friend died yesterday.....It wasn't even his fault!"

He stopped for a second and lifted my head.

"Oh my god. I am so sorry."

I just started crying.

"Why did he have to die!"

"Skyler, there is a reason for everything. Whatever he was sent here to do he did, and now God needed him for something."

"Wow Niall. Your so great with words."

I wiped the tears from my face. His words almost sounded like a poem. I had never thought about it that way.

He just chuckled,"Thanks." The grin on his face just made me want to smile.

I looked up. We just stared at each other for what seemed like forever. I felt like we were the only two people in the world, something I never felt with Harry. Niall began to lean in, very slow, too slow. I just grabbed his face with my hands and brought his perfect lips to mine. His lips were so soft. He kissed me passionately and I just kissed him right back. It didn't take long for Niall to take the lead. He then grabbed my face and began to lick my bottom lip asking for entrance. Without hesitation I agreed. He explored my mouth and I explored his our tongues fighting with each other. We just kept kissing for the longest time when we finally both ran out of air. Reluctantly Niall pulled away from my face to take a breath.

"Does this mean-"

"Yeah." He said.

He grabbed my hand and stood up.

"Come on, I have a special place I want to take you.

I stood up and we began walking, our hands intertwined.
