Chapter 17

Niall's POV:

I couldn't believe that Skyler really liked me. It shocked me honestly when she kissed me. I know I hadn't seen this coming but I really did have a special place, well my place. It's where I go to destress, or lately, where I went to try and forget about Skyler, and how she loved Harry. Harry, what happened to Harry? Skyler and I walked, our hands intertwined.

"So, what happened between you and Harry?" I regret what I said as soon as the words came out of my mouth.

She smiled,"I knew that he loved Brooke. I could tell when he saw her. He just lit up everytime she walked in the room. So I told him to go tell her he loved her. Him and Brooke are together now."

"And, are you upset about that."

"I have you now Niall, I couldn't ask for anything else." She lightly kissed my lips.

Everytime she touched me jt was like an electric shock went through my body. I could just hold her forever.

We arrived at the special place, my place, a private lake.

"Oh my god Niall! This is beautiful!"

"Ya it's the place I always go to for- i mean, calm down."

I almost blew it by telling her i tried to forget about her relationship with Harry.

"Wow, I love it here."

"Ya, me too."

I guided her over to the edge of the lake where we sat down. We just talked and talked for hours before it got dark.

"It's getting dark Niall."

"Yeah, I like to look at the stars." I laid down.

She just smiled and laid down next to me and grasped my hand. There was a moment of silence.

Skyler finally said, "I love you Niall."

I was speechless and almost choked from shock. It took me a minute to reply.

"I love you too Skyler."
