Mira yawned as she sat down on a stool behind the bar, waking up some after opening up the guild's doors. "I hope today is just as nice as the last. It's too hot without the spring breeze." she wished out loud, looking around as fellow members walked in. First of them was Gray.

"Good morning, Mira." Gray greeted, waving to the silver-haired barmaid.

"Good morning, Gray. Where's Juvia? She usually comes in with or right after you." Mira returned, watching the doorway.

"I don't know. Am I suddenly supposed to keep track of her now?" Gray answered with his own question, looking the other way.

"No, but you two would make a pretty good couple." Mira complimented with a mischievous smirk.

Gray spun his head around and glared at her. "Oi Oi! Don't go saying stuff like that out loud!" he ordered only to end up being teased more and get beaten in a brawl with the barmaid.

Chaos and Ash walked in just as Mira dropped Gray to the floor by letting go of his ankle.

"Mom, why did Ms. Mira drop Gray like that? Doesn't that hurt?" Ash questioned while staring at Gray's pained face.

"Well, Fairy Tail doesn't exactly have a rule against brawling and it seems Mira just won against Gray." Chaos giggled, leading the child to a nearby table.

"Mom is it alright if I go play hide-and-seek with Asuka and the other kids?" Ashley inquired, pulling on the young woman's arm.

"That's fine by me, I'll come get you when it's time to head to the store." Chaos allowed, letting her daughter run over to Asuka and the town's children to play.

Fuyu dragged himself into the guild hall, looking deathly ill as he sat across from Chaos. "M-morning...ulp...Chaos." he greeted, covering his mouth in disgust.

"What the hell happened to you, Fuyu?" Chaos interrogated, walking around and rubbing the man's back.

"His appearance became like that when he ate Rivet-face's gumbo." Natsu informed as he sat down at their table.

"He ate what?" Chaos asked, becoming annoyed that he didn't really answer her first question.

"Gajeel's gumbo is super spicy and stays that way whether it is warm, cool, or ice cold. Fuyu learned that lesson the hard way when he thought it wouldn't be so spicy if he cooled it down with his magic. His face looked so nasty when the first spoonful hit his tongue." Natsu answered, leaning back in his chair.

"It tasted terrible too..." Fuyu whined from his position, giving an impression he might either throw up or cry.

"What're you talking about? That stuff was great!" Natsu argued, yelling a little in protest.

Fuyu got up from his seat and trudged over to the request board and grabbed a random job from the ones not taken. "Forty thousand jewel to get away from here and take down a rising dark guild called Ebony Claw? Sounds nice since it's located up north. I think I'll walk there..." he muttered to himself as he approached Mira at the counter and got it approved.

"You sure you want to go on a job while looking like that?" Mira questioned before the snow mage nodded and turned towards the doorway.

Chaos and Natsu watched him stroll out of the guild hall and towards the edge of town until he left their sight.

"I hope he'll be okay..." Chaos prayed quietly prior to Natsu setting his hand on her shoulder.

"I know he'll do fine. He's one of Fairy Tail's best and the Snow Dragon Slayer." the salmon haired boy consoled, making Chaos smile and nod.

Several hours had passed and the sun had risen high into the sky when Mina ran into the guild, with a smile anyone would think wasn't physically possible, and slid to a halt next to Chaos. "Sis! I finally found a deal! This is gonna be great!" she cheered, getting the brunette to jump in excitement.

"What?! You finally found a shop that you can afford?! This is amazing! Now you'll get to build your own shop! Where's it at?" Chaos cheered, standing up and hugging her best friend.

"Uh...that is one of the two problems I have... It's in Crocus and I've estimated that I'll need to be gone for a month to set everything up, including staff and merchandise." Mina informed, pressing her fingers together nervously.

"A month? Psh. I could help you with that. I'll just travel to and from Crocus every couple of days while helping you. My only problem is who will take care of Ash while I'm away?" Chaos replied, rubbing her chin to think.

"You can bring her, there is a living space above the store so all three of us can stay over night. It'll be like we're having a sleepover." Mina added, making Chaos smile again.

"Really? This is beginning to sound fun! Let's go tell Ash before we forget!" Chaos laughed as she and Mina went to go find Ashley.

"Aw~~...I was gonna ask Chaos if she wanted to go on a job with me later. Guess I'll have to figure this month's rent out on my own." Ellie groaned, going to the request board and taking a job, before leaving soon after the others.

Makarov took a swig from his mug of ale while sitting atop the bar counter. "Looks like all the newbie's are striding out today." he commented, getting some attention from those nearby. "I wonder what will happen next." he continued, taking another drink of ale, and continued to watch as the rest of the day went by like leaves in the wind.

This point in the story will now continue into the Tartaros Arc with none of the unofficial character's reappearing until the arc's ending. I will try to make the next chapter I post as interesting as possible, even though I assume that most of you already know how the Tartaros Arc ends. Also, I know that I'm not properly paying enough attention to all of my stories. Despite this, I do update the drafts for each story on a regular, daily basis in my personal notebooks and online. So please understand when I tell you that I am still alive, updating when I have the time, and will continue to create blissful stories for every single person that wants to read my content. Now that you all know how I update my stories, I hope you will all reconsider what you choose to type into the comment section of the last chapter in each of my stories.
