Chapter 7: in the Belly of the Beast; the Koopa King himself!

     "So this is Castle Boswer, alot more scarier than I expected." Klein said.

     "This is  Bowser we're talking about, he may live in the scariest castle ever, but he poses no real threat. The challenge of the castle is nothing to experienced gamers. Since we're actually in the game, this should be alot easier than it looks." Mason explained.

      "EASIER THAN IT LOOKS?!! IT LOOKS EXTREMELY DEADLY!!!!!" Klein yelled.

     "C'mon, it'll be fun! Let's go already! You can't even die for real here!" Mason yelled at him.

     "I have a idea, how about you turn into a character with flight abilities. That way you can stay above all the insanity we'll be going through down here." Emily suggested.

     "Hey, that's a good idea. And I got the perfect choice for you." Mason said.

So....

     'This guy? But he's just a pink puffball!' Klein thought having to hold his breath to stay airborne while playing as Kirby.'At least he can hold his breath for a very long time. I guess it could be worse. I wonder what his fighting abilities are.'

     "You okay up there Klein?" Mason yelled to him. He tried putting up a thumbs up signal,but Kirby didn't have thumbs so Mason couldn't tell. "I'll take that as a yes!" Mason shouted, turning back around.

     "Hey Klein, you might want to watch out from above." Emily said, refering to the giant, spiked death traps that were prepared to drill down on him.

     'Crap, I'm screwed!' Klein thought as the weapons of mass destruction came drilling down.

     Suddenly, the blue blur came out of nowhere, rescuing the pink puffball. "Don't worry pal, I gotcha." Sonic said.

      "My hero." Klein sighed.

Soon...

     "Thank goodness, we finally made it to the end." Mason said.

     "It's about time!" Klein yelled.

     "All we gotta do is walk into this-a door." Mario said. "Bowser should-a be waiting inside."

     "Well, then just leave that to me!" Mason said, selecting a character. He was then surrounded in a dark aura, which completely hid his body. He then stepped from the darkness, emerging as a younger version of Ganondorf. He then approached the door and used the dark aura to max out his punch, which shattered the door after blowing it off its hinges.

     "Uh, we could've just-a pushed it open." Mario stated.

     "GANONDORF?! SERIOUSLY MASON?!!!" Emily screamed.

     "Hey lady, it's not my fault that that wimpy Falcon Pawnch is no match for my Ganon Punch." Mason replied in a cocky voice.

     "Ugh! He's even got his bad manners!" Emily said in disgust.

     "When players take the forms of characters here, they don't just take their physical appearance, but also some of their personality traits. It's stated in the tutorial." Megaman explained.

     "SHUT UP WITH THAT TUTORIAL CRAP!!!" Mason snapped.

     "Sheesh, okay Mr. Bossypants." Megaman said. "See what I mean?"

     "I'm gonna kill him when he changes back." Emily stated as they walked into the door.

     Soon...

     "So Mario, you think that just with the help of a bunch of kids that you will be able to stop me this time? Go ahead and try!" The Koopa king said cockily.

     "Excuse me, I am a 24 year old man!" Klein yelled.

     "He's so asking for this. Let's kick his butt." Emily said, transforming into Sheik

     "This'll be fun." Mason said, popping his knuckles.

     "I thought you'd never ask." Klein said, becoming Ike.

A few minutes later...

     "Have mercy..." Bowser cried.

     "That's for calling us kids!" Klein said.

     "Now to get down to business." Mason said grabbing the koopa by his spiked collar. "What do you know about the return of Tabuu?" 

     "Tabuu? Are you crazy? I thought we all worked together to beat that guy!"

    "Answer the question!" Mason yelled.

     "I thought he was long gone and never coming back." Bowser wimpered.

     Suddenly, Mason let go of his collar, dropping the beast with a loud thud.

     "Crud. I guess you don't know anything about Tabuu."

     "Wait. I do know this. The origional mastermind behind the plan to awaken Tabuu was none other than Ganondorf." Bowser said.

     "HEY!!!" Mason yelled, dashing towards him and grabbing his nose. He created a dark explosion from his hand. 

     "OW!!! NOT YOU YA IDOT! THE REAL GANONDORF!!!!" Bowser yelled.

     "Oops."

     "Well, I guess it's time to pay Ganon a visit." Emily said.

      "And where the heck are we going to find him?" Klein said.

     "Well I guess it's time to pay Link and Zelda a visit." Emily changed her previous sentence.

      "Then I guess we should get going." Mason said, suddenly back to normal.

     "Oh, Mason, one more thing." Emily said before she started hitting him with a fan repeatedly.

     "Ow, that hurts! What gives?!" Mason yelled.

      "DON'T EVER BE RUDE TO ME AS GANONDORF AGAIN! GOT IT?!" she said, hitting him about fifty more times and then sent him soaring using an upward smash. 

     "WHAT DID I SAAAAAAAAAY?!" Mason screamed before crashing through the castle walls and disapearing into the night sky.

     "Maybe that was a little harsh." Klein said.

     "Hey, I said I was gonna kill him when he changed back. I feel much better now. Besides it's Smash brothers. He'll be fine."

    "I think I'll be coming with you guys." Bowser said.

     "WHAT?!!!" everyone said.

     "Sounds cool." Mason said, who happened to be standing right next to Emily.

     "What the... How'd you get back here so fast?"

     "Aw, it was nothin'. I just became Shadow and used Chaos Control." Mason explained.

     "Well it was fun while it lasted. We gotta get to castle Hyrule." Emily said.

     "Then what are we waiting for, let's move." Bowser said, walking ahead.

     "Mason, are you sure it's okay to trust this guy?"

     "Sure, all the smashers have teamed up before, haven't they? And Bowser hates Ganondorf. We can definitely get some answers out of him with the big guy on our side."

     "If he can get along with Mario." Emily said, referring to Mario and Bowser knocking heads.

     "We'll be fine." Mason smiled.
