Chapter 9: Venture Through Twilight!

     "Well, looks like we've come to a dead end....What the heck?! Bowser get over here!" Mason yelled angrily. 

     "What?" Bowser said as he approached.

     "Can you tell me what's up with this picture? I thought you said Ganondorf would be here you dirty piece of-"

     "Mason, calm down. Ganondorf is in the Twilight zone, remember."

     "Yeah, that's the tricky part. I don't know how exantly how to open the Twilight zone. Only Dorf and Link know about that stuff."

     "Hehe, he called him Dorf!" Klein laughed.

     "Hold on, you're still missing one key fact." said a mysterious voice.

     "Huh? Who said that?" Mason said, surprized.

     "Oh you haven't realized me yet? Man, you must be really dumb. Dummy."

     "Dummy?" Mason said.

      "Hey, you can't call him a dummy! That's my job!" Emily said.

     "Emily, you're not helping." Mason sighed.

    "So Midna, what's your business being here?" Emily asked.

     "Midna?" Mason said.

     "Hey there Emily. Long time no see." the imp said, revealing herself.

     "Whuuut? You know her?" 

     "I actually met her the first day I logged in. But anyway. Midna, can you give us a hand? We need to get into the Twilight zone. Bowser led us here so we could find Ganondorf. But he has no idea how to get in there."

     "Actually, I was headed there myself. But I would only be able to take three of you guys with me."

     "Only three? I guess we're going to have to decide who gets to go." Emily said.

     "I say we should leave Klein here with the others, just in case something happens. We should take Sonic with us so we can make a quick escape if we have to."

     "That sound like a plan, I think I can handle that." Klein said. 

     "Not a bad idea, let's get this show on the road." Sonic added.

     "Good thinking Mason. Alright Midna. We're all set. Let's go to the Twilight zone!" 

    "Alright, here goes." Midna said, flicking her hair, which happened to become a giant hand that seemed to tear open the fabric of reality. She then opened the portal and walked in.

     "Well, seeya guys later." 

     "Bye."

     "Seeya."

     "Hey! This portal doesn't last all day. C'mon!" Midna said from within the portal, grabbing them with her hair and yanking them in.

Soon...

     "Ugh. Why does this seem so familiar?" Sonic said with his head stuck in the dirt. 

     "Oops, maybe I overdid it a little." Midna said using her hair to pull Sonic out of the dirt. "Where did the other two go?"

     "They probably got their heads stuck in dirt just like I did, we should go look for them."

     "Alright, let's go."

Elsewhere...

     "Ugh, my head. What happened? Is this the Twilght zone?" Mason said as he tried to stand up, but for some reason, he stumbled back down and landed on his nose, which hurt alot more than normal. "What the, it's like I have an extra long nose or something. What gives?" he said as he brought his paws up to rub his nose....paws? He began to freak out. "What the heck is going?"
