Video Games? {Chapter 9}

April's P.O.V.

When I strolled into the living room the next morning, I found Papyrus on the couch. I went up to the lazybones and poked him. I guess I must have frightened him, because he jumped when he woke up and then fell on the floor. I giggled at him. 

"Sorry I woke you, you look like you had a late night but, I was wondering why you was asleep on the couch?" I asked.

"Welp, you see..." He told me everything that happened, from calling Frisk, to finding Blue and Chara.

"It seems Pap already told you what happened last night. That saves me a job." Frisk Walked into the room looking like a movie star, she had dark blue jeans on, a blue tank top and her curled and half up half down.

"What's with the fancy get up?" Papyrus spoke for me.

"I have a date tonight with Sans tonight." Frisk blushed a bit.

"Then why are you dressed up now?" I was confused about that as well.

"Well I already told mum, but I'm heading over to Mettaton's he offered to do my makeup as soon as I til him about it."

"When did he ask you? And since when did Papyrus know? I chimed in.

"Sans asked me this morning, as for Pap I told him while we searched for Blue. Saying that, are him and Chara still asleep outside?"

"Yeah, I'll wake them up as I leave I'm going for a wander. Also I forgot to give you this phone back, you know the one from when you introduced me to everyone. Oh and the bag."

"No silly, those are yours to keep, it has everyone's number in,"

"Really? Thank you so much!" I gave Frisk a hug before grabbing my bag and heading towards the door.

"Oh and April, call me if you get lost. You have only been out once."

"Mmhm" I left the house, on my way waking Blueberry and Chara up. Wait, Frisk said my phone has everyone's number in, so does that mean...I-I could c-call E-E-Edge? I searched my contacts and sure enough Edge's name was there. I decided I would text him.

Me: Edge is this your number?

Edge: Who's this?

Me: It's April

I was so nervous. No one knows but I've liked Edge since I first met him.

Edge: Oh hey April. Howdya get ma number?

Me: Frisk gave me a phone with everyone's number.

Edge: Seems like something she would do, she's to nice.

Just play it cool. Ask to hangout its not difficult!

Me: Hey mind if I come over?

Edge: Sure whatever. Just avoid Papyrus he's in a bad mood.

Me: Thx ill be over soon.

Edge: K

I decided to take the boat with the river person. I would get lost otherwise. I'll have my adventure on the way home.

It wasn't long before I got to Snowdin. I was surprised to see Edge waiting where the river person pulls up. I got of the boat and walked towards him.

"Heya," he started "why dya want to see me anyway?"

"Oh...ermm... No reason, you just seem nice."

"Heh, funny kid, but seriously what's the reason? Did Frisk want you to see how I was feeling or something?"

"Edge I think you're jumping to conclusions and why would Frisk want me to see how your feeling?"

"I see she didn't tell ya what happened, welp that's her choice, sorry can't tell ya pe-April." Edge had began to blush. Why?

"That's ok. So how are you feeling?"

"Wha-"

"I figured you wasn't feeling well since every time we mention Frisk you get this sad voice and look on your face."

"Yeah how about we go to mine and we play some video games and forget about our crappy lives for a bit, yeah?"

"S-sure" I had began to blush now.

"Lets go then." He grabbed my hand and teleported us to his house, as we walked in I heard Papyrus shouting.

"Boss, I'm going upstairs and me and April are gonna play some video games."

"Whatever Sans!"
