The Battle! {Chapter 18}

You're all awesome, anyway enjoy this chapter, and if you have any ideas for the book please leave a comment I will try to include it into the story, I love writing this even though I may take a while, so I hope I can keep it going longer than I originally planned, anyway cya :3)

Frisk's P.O.V.

"So basically, what you're saying is, there is another skeleton trying to kill all these other alternate universes and you want our help to stop him?" I asked, after he finished explaining. Ink nodded.

My world began to sink around me, as I realized my dilemma. On the one hand I wished to save them, all of them, my goal has always been to save and achieve peace. However, if they go, I'll never get to see them again. But, on the other hand, if I don't help they'll die. I'll be as good as a murderer. I'm supposed to be the angel of the underground. Honestly I don't have a choice, so it's technically not a dilemma. But I don't want to lose them, they may have only been here for a small amount of time but they're still my friends. Any Sans or Papyrus will be. Always. It might not be so hard for me, but what about Chara and April? Would they even be able to go with them? Surely they cant, that'll be so hard for them. Maybe I'll be able to figure something out. I felt my breathing get heavy. I was worrying, panicking.

Did this all rely on me?

What if they get hurt?

What if Chara and April get too upset?

Do they even realize?

Do I have to kill this other Sans?

Would I be a murderer either way?

My head swarmed with questions. Darkness crept up on me. I began to feel dizzy, before I passed out in Sans' arms.

~Time skip, brought to you by river person.... tra la la ~

My eyes began to flutter open before a giant light making me close them again. As I re-opened them, I saw a crowd of people around me. There was no one other than who was already in the small room, behind the waterfall, before I passed out, so I couldn't have been out long.

"Heh, you alright kiddo? You gave us quite a scare there..." Sans was sweating, he must've worried quite a bit. "What happened?" I didn't want to worry him further, so I decided it was best not to tell him.

"I'm fine, it was nothing. It's just too hot in this top y'know?" Shit...

"You're a fine girl, but lying doesn't suit you." Knew it. Sans is smarter than that. I was stupid to think it would work. Sans leaned in, so his mouth was next to my ear. "It's okay kid, you can tell me later." He softly whispered. He stood up properly and used his magic to gently lift me into his arms. I let myself sink into his hoodie.

"Well if you're alright then we can continue, " Ink started, "you should probably pack a few things before we go universe jumping. Don't take long though, you won't need much. Just some gold an prob' water and food. I only need Frisk, Chara and I guess April too."

"WHAT!? I don't understand! Why can't you just send us back and be done with it?" Edge furiously asked. Ink sighed, wondering why no one questioned that sooner.

"Yeah!" US Papyrus chimed in. He'd been awfully quiet.

"Because Error will send you right back. It's no use." Ink said. "If I could, don't you think I would've done that by now?"

"Yeah I guess..." Edge agreed apologetically. I guess we had to do what Ink wants us to do.

The Sans' teleported us and we packed what was needed. We said our fair wells to our mother, father and brother, after explaining quickly. Before teleporting back.

Ink opened a portal again and asked if we was ready to leave. Saying goodbye to everyone in the room, we stood in front of the portal, we turned to say goodbye to our three beloved Sans'. With a few tears shed as no one new how long we'd be, we stepped into the portal. Hand in hand. Eyes closed.

As I slowly opened my eye I was surrounded by a white void...
