Chapter 2: The New Student

     At breakfast, Brittany didn't have a happy face as usual. "What's wrong Brittany?" asked Shannon. "Oh it's nothing Shany," replied Brittany. "Come on tell us what's bothering you," begged Cassie. "It's nothing alright?" barked Brittany. "Hey be nice Brittany." Ryan told her. "Don't tell me what to do Ryan." replied Brittany. "Hey Brittany listen to your older brother," said Brittany's mom. "He is only a year older then me, so I don't have to listen to him if I don't want to. I will do as I please," replied Brittany. "You miss will do as I say." Brittany's mom said sternly. Brittany just huffed. "Alright everyone get in the car now." commanded Brittany's mom. "Great now you made her mad Brittany," said Ryan. "Shut up!" replied Brittany. "Okay I don't know what has gotten into you miss, but this little attitude will stop right now." said Brittany's mother. "Whatever," replied Brittany. When they got to school Brittany ran to class without saying goodbye to anyone. "On time for once Brittany?" asked Ryan. "You'd better shut up punk!" yelled Brittany. "Miss Bailey, we do not speak like that in my class," said Mrs. Carter in a angry tone. Brittany then gasped and fell to the ground in a faint. When she awoke she was in the imformery. 

     "W-what happend?" asked Brittany when she awoke. "You fainted miss Bailey," said the nurse. "But in your sleep you kept saying one word love." the nurse informed Brittany. "Why was I saying that?" asked Brittany. "I don't know." You should ask yourself that question, replied the nurse. "Well anyway you should head back to your class." It seems like you are back to normal, so you may leave, said the nurse. Brittany walked back to class in a confused state. "Look who's back, the little tarty queen, taunted Ryan and Tim. "Miss Bailey are you alright?" asked Mrs. Carter. "Yes I am. I guess I just got dizzy, replied Brittany. "Well I am glad you're back, because I was just about to introduce our new student to the class." said Mrs. Carter. "Everyone meet Kayla Peterson, announced Mrs. Carter. Soon after a girl walked into the classroom from Mrs Carter's office door. Everyone gasped when they saw Kayla. "She looks just like Brittany, said Erica. "Yes well, I am sure there are many people in the world that look similar to others. Brittany had stopped staring after the teacher said that. Kayla looked around the room with a terrified face. Kayla scanned throught the room until she came across Brittany. She stared and stared at Brittany, and Brittany stared back. They stared at eachother until Mrs. Carter interrupted them. "You may take a seat now Kayla," Mrs. Carter said. "Um thank you," replied Kayla, and she hurried off to a seat.
