Ella's POV
A surprise? What can she possibly have for me? She always does this to me. Maybe she got me what she usually gets me when she comes over. Chocolate. Hopefully. I snapped out of my thoughts as the doorbell rang.
"Coming," I yelled from the kitchen. I walked to the door and opened it for Rachel to come in.
"Hey bestie," said Rachel. I smiled and looked at the two dresses in that plastic stuff they put over dresses.
"Um... what are those," I said pointing at the dresses. They were beautiful don't get me wrong.
"Dresses of course. We are going to the ball," said Rachel. I starred at her shocked. What The Heck? We can't go. Margret will kill me if I go.
"Ray I can't go. First I have work to do. An second of all Margret will kill me if she sees me there," I said with a stern voice.
"Well you don't have to worry. Its a masquerade ball. An we will be wearing masks," said Rachel smirking.
"Ok. What about the chores," I asked.
"We will be home before midnight. You can do them then," she said. I was starting to agree with her. I mean I've never been to any of the party's the company's throw sense I was 5.
"Alright. Come on we have to get ready. P.S. if Margret catches us, I'm blaming it all on you," I said. Rachel started laughing. That's why I love her she's the bestest friend ever.
"Ok I made this dress," she said handing me a beautiful pink dress. It looked like one of those dresses you see in the movies when it's at like a fairy tale ball. Rachel is the most skilled seamstress I know.
"Thank you! Thank you," I said giving here a big hug.
"Hey no problem. You are technically paying me back by maybe dancing with One Direction," said Rachel. Rachel is as obsessed with One Direction as my stepsisters.
"Ha,yeah. Let's get changing," I said grabbing her wrist and pulling her upstairs.
