A short story request from @Blissive hope you like it :)

Bekah walked down the empty halls glumly. She hated swim practice, especially on the weekends. She entered the locker room and slipped on her bathing suit. Sighing she looked down to take off her watch to see something strange. Her skin, it looked like candle wax. It was shiny, little bubbles in her skin. Disgusted, she lightly poked one of the bumps. It caved in immediately. Gagging, she shook her head and walked out to the pool.

Coach Melissa sat in her chair, yelling across the room to the other girls, direction them in new swim moves. Bekah walked up to Ms. Melissa nervously. She looked over at her and smiled a big toothy grin, "There's my little star fish! What's up?" Bekah half smiled at the nickname but raised her arm to Melissa's face, "Coach, I don't think I can swim today..." Melissa's eyes doubled in size. Grabbing Bekah's arm, she turned it almost 360° studying the small bumps.

Bekah could hear her heartbeat in her ears. Ms. Melissa dropped Bekah's arm and grabbed her walkie talkie from her belt. Loud feedback screeched as she pressed the button, yelling , "Lockdown! We have a code black!!" Immediately, sirens started to go off. Bekah whipped her head around, the other girls scrambled out of the pool, screaming as the double doors burst open.

Men in neon yellow suits burst through the doors, strange find in their hands. All those guns, we're pointed directly at Bekah's head. Bekah stumbled back, her heels on the edge of the Olympic sized pool. Coach Melissa stepped forward her cautiously, "Bekah come on...these good men are going to make it all go away."

Bekah's breathing became short, terrified gasps. "They're gonna kill me!! What's wrong with me?!!" Bekah yelled as she faught tears back. One of the men brought out a walkie talkie, just like Ms. Melissa had, and spoke into low but Bekah heard anyway, "Tell Alyssa we're gonna need back up here. Subject is hostile and resistive."

Bekah hugged herself, looking around frantically for somewhere to go. The only other way out was the locker room. The only way over to it without going by the yellow suit guys? Was to swim. Bekah looked down at her skin scared. It was worse now. Some of it actually looked like it would fall off, it resembling cable wax more and more by the minute. Taking a deep breath, Bekah flung herself into the warm pool behind her. She could barely hear what was going on above. All she knew it that bullets whizzed past her as she swam.

Finally she reached the other side. Pulling herself out, she scrambled into the locker room. She heard a wet slop behind her. Glancing ad she ran, she wanted to throw up. Her skin was falling off. Looking down, she spied what she was turning into. Her skin, on her arms and legs and everywhere, was slowly melting and falling off like candle wax behind her. Just shaking away her fear, she ran faster. The locker room bathroom came into view at last.

Smiling triumphantly, she locked herself inside. Trying to catch her breath, she raced to the wall opposite of her. About three feet higher than her, was a clouded window. Perfect size for her too. Only problem, she was too short. She tried to jump to grab it's ledge but she just couldn't reach. With every jump, another glob of skin fell off. She didn't care. She looked around frantically. Nothing.

Absolutely nothing she could use. "I'll give you a boost..." A small voice squeaked. Bekah whipped her head around and raised her hands defensively, instinctively. But it was only Carrie, her older sister.

Mom must have sent her in to get me..

Bekah smiled a bit, hugging her tightly. Carrie squirmed out of the embrace, exclaiming "Eww!" As a glob of Bekah's flesh stuck to her shirt. Whimpering out an apology, Bekah pulled her to the window. Positioning herself, Carrie laced her hands together to boost Bekah up. Before Bekah could even step into her hand, the doors finally busted open. Literally hanging off the hinges, the doors fell to the ground as the yellow suit men pointed their guns at the two girls.

Not even hesitating, a loud bang! Resonated though the room. Carrie looked at Bekah then down at her stomach. A giant hole was where her stomach should have been, blood and organs falling out onto the tiled floor. "I'm so sorry..." Carrie said emotionless, collapsing onto the floor. "No!! Why?!!" Bekah screamed, tears rolling down her face. She was no longer afraid. Bekah rushed at the yellow suit men, ready to punch and kick. Before she could lay a hand on either of them, a bullet clipped her right shoulder, causing her to fall to the floor in pain. Ms. Melissa walked up to her, a grim expression on her face, "Star fish...I'm sorry it has to be like this. What you have has no cure...please forgive me..."

Bekah shook her head frantically, sobbing loudly as she pleaded. A man in a yellow suit walked up to Bekah, gun poised, and pulled the trigger. As the bullet connected with her heart, her melting flesh flung around the room. Melissa looked at the ground as they drug the two lifeless girls away. Melissa sighed, clicking the button on the side of her walkie talkie, "Two casualties. Unintended death of subject's older sister Carrie. Subject status, terminated..." She sighed as she finished her sentence, walking back into the pool room.
