"Ok guys, what do you think the true message of Romeo and Juliet is?" Club leader Vincent announced flatly. Rosalyn yawned and sat up, raising her hand.Vincent turned her way and told her to speak,"I believe the true meaning of Romeo and Juliet is that even in the darkest of feuds, love can prevail. The story of Romeo and Juliet was a beautiful tragedy." Rosalyn finished with a satisfied smile and sat down.

Around half the class clapped in agreement, while the other half just rolled their eyes. "What? Don't you agree?" She inquired, looking at them. A boy with walnut skin and raven hair stood up and spoke in a mocking tone, "I believe that the true meaning of Romeo and Juliet is a lesson to teach all kids. To tell us to be careful of how stupid kids can be when they lust over something." With a smirk, he sat down. Rosalyn's mouth hung open in utter shock. How could someone ever interoperate it like that?!

"How could you ever think about it like that?!" "Your so stupid! It's not that at all!"

The whole room erupted in yelling and shouts, anger oozing off them all. Half yelled love, the others yelled lust. "Shut up all of you!!" Vincent screamed. They all stopped, and turned. Rosalyn stood infuriated, only more angry by the fact that she was next to the boy who started this whole argument.

Vincent shook his head disappointed, "Look believe what you all want about the story, whether you think it's love or lust, it's a classic either way. Now can we please move on and work on the play we have to do about this?" He said exasperated. Everyone grumbled an agreement, but that didn't stop the room dividing up.

One week later

The play was in three days. Everyone was still divided. It was anarchy. They all despised each other. Well, not all did.

Rosalyn sat in the library, book in hand. She had read this one a million times but it always surprised her. She felt someone sit down across from her. She didn't look up, as it was common to sit with strangers in the library. "I've read that one before. Very boring if you ask me." The person whispered to her. She chuckled and put the book down to face the person, only to have her smile fall as she saw who it was. The boy with walnut skin and raven black hair.

The boy reached a hand out to her, wanting her to shake it back, "The name is Julian." Rosalyn just stared at his hand in disgust. He narrowed his gaze, "Look I don't have germs. Can ya please just shake my hand and tell me your name?" He finished. Rosalyn slowly grasped his hand in hers, giving it a slight shake, "I'm...uh... Rosalyn. Why are you talking to me?... I thought all of you lust people hated us love's." She inquired. He just looked at her for a moment. But he did something you would've never expected. He smiled. He actually smiled at what she had said. She stared in astonishment. "Maybe I wanna know more about you, and your reasons for choosing love on the book." He said the last part with a genuine laugh, not a sarcastic one like normal, but a laugh.

Rosalyn gave him a wary eye, but sat up and opened her mouth hesitantly, "Well, I believe that in the story the message is that love can prevail. Even when their families told them to stay away from eachother, they took the risks to see eachother because they were madly in love! They even died when they thought the other one was dead. Their kind of live was a true fairy tale. It ended like a horror story, but the love was like a fairy tale." Rosalyn laughed a little as she said the last part.

Julian chuckled a bit and nodded. Rosalyn sat back, relaxing a bit as his presence started becoming more familiar with her. "So, do you uh, do you like Dystopia Sirens?" He asked, a slight blush creeping across his face. Rosalyn's eyes tripled in size, and enthusiastic smile stretching across her face, "Like?! They are my favorite band ever! I have all of their music, almost everything single poster they ever made, and probably the most beanies a teenager could have to last a lifetime!" She spouted, her words pouring out of her mouth almost too fast to understand. The fact of their location cought up to them, as the librarian narrowed her ancient eyes at them and sounded a loud shush!

The duo looked at eachother, sharing a silent laugh fit. She wiped a single happy tear from her eye, "So yeah they're like my life. Why do you ask?" She whispered. He smiled sheepishly, reaching into his pocket. Rosalyn was about to get up and leave out of fear of her time being wasted, but as soon as she saw the Dystopia Sirens logo she sat down in awe. In his hands were two concert tickets, front row. "How did you get those?! The show has been sold out for months and those things cost more than life!" She exclaimed in astonishment, only to anger the librarian once again. He laughed and smiled, "I was gonna take my little sister, but she's sick so she can't go. I was wondering if you would wanna do with me tonight?.." he asked, his face turning bright crimson. Rosalyn couldn't help but blush herself, "You would go with a love like me?.." she answered looking at the floor. He lifted her chin and smiled, "Maybe I don't care about the stupid war anymore. It's just a damn story! Please go with me." He laughed but gave her the biggest puppy dog eyes. Giggling, she nodded a yes and they stood and left, arm in arm laughing to each other.

From the table beside theirs, a girl put down her book and glared watching them leave, "Those traitors! I gotta tell the others about this!" She hissed, pulling out her phone, a text  to all members in the Shakespeare club in progress. Smirking, she hit send, "Let's see how your fairy tale will end after this..." she chuckled as she could see them walking away from the building.
