Hanging Out With Bratayley For The First Time!!!

I woke up and ate breakfast. My mom had gone to the store and got groceries while we where asleep. Me and Megan had a Sausage Corn Dog. My mom asked me and my sister, "When are you going to go to the Bratayley's house. Because I would like to meet there parents. I already met the other neighbors." I said, "I don't know when. But not to early. I don't need to wake them up." "Okay. Well i'll go whenever you go." My mom said. "Okay." I said back. After breakfast me and Megan got dressed and went outside to play Softball. A half hour after playing Softball I saw Caleb go out on his back porch. He yelled, "Hey guys, you can come over now if you want." I said, "Okay, we will." "Also wear your bathing suits because we're going in the lake." Caleb said back. "Awesome!" My sister yelled. We both ran inside and told our mom. We got our bathing suits on and headed to the Bratayley's house with our mom. We rang the doorbell, and Caleb opened it up. We said hi. My mom introduced herself, and said she would like to meet his parents and say hello, if they're not to busy. Caleb said, "sure, that's alright. I'll go get them." "Mom, dad. Abby and Megan's mom is here. She came to say hi and talk." (Billy and Katie come to the door.) "Hi my name is Katie. And my name is Billy." They both said. "My name is Hannah. Nice to meet you." My mom said. Then Katie said, "Come in, we would love to talk." We all waited for Annie and Hayley to put on their bathing suits. After they put on their bathing suits we all headed down to the dock to jump into the water. Caleb dared me to go first. I decided to take the challenge. I jumped in and it was cold. I told Caleb, "I can't get out! Please help me. Caleb comes to help me as I pull him in. "Ahhh" Caleb screamed, as he fell in. Megan jumped in, which got Hayley to jump. Then Annie jumped in. So most of this is just us swimming.

Conversation Parents Are Having:

Katie: So Hannah, what job do you have?

Mom: I work for Military Police, I just got a promotion. We where going to live on the Military Base till we found a house since it was short notice. But we would only be living there for a couple weeks. We lived right near the Water in Virginia. So I thought since I would be working all the time. The girls wouldn't be able to go to the beach and lake much. So I wanted to find a house right on the water.

Billy: army?

Mom: Yep. 

Billy: I'm in the Navy. Both bases are close to each other.

Mom: They said even if I have to move, the Promotion would get me a higher pay raise.

Katie: Ya. We had to move because of a promotion.

Mom: Where did you live before here?

Katie: In Texas. That's where Hayley was born!

Mom: Ya. Both the girls where born in Virginia. 

Katie: Do they both have the same.....??

Mom: Father? They do. We split up a year after Megan was born. He had some drug abuse problems. I told him go to Rehab for 90 days or where gone. And of course he wasn't even going to get any custody, unless he sobered up. He used to write the girls letters. Abigail was just seven years old. There was a letter in the mail everyday. After a year he stopped writing. last I heard he was going to California because a lot of people would buy for his business. Of course he told the girls he worked for a shirt company. But I knew the real reason why he was leaving.

Billy: That must be really hard that the girls don't have a dad.

Mom: Well Megan was just one years old, so she doesn't even remember him. And Abigail has faint memories. He wrote a letter for each of the girls for when they turn 16.But they don't need to know who their father is till there at least adults.

Katie: I understand. If anything like that happened, I wouldn't have it any different.

After a while of swimming Mrs. Katie called us in for lunch. We had Pizza Rolls and French Fries. After lunch we decided to go downstairs and watch the girls do some Gymnastics. After the day was over, me, Megan, and my mom went home to eat dinner.

We had been hanging out with the Bratayley family for at least two weeks now. Caleb invited me over to talk. I wonder what he had to say. I went over and Caleb was waiting outside. He asked me if I wanted to go out with him sometime. Like a date. I said sure! I would love to give it a shot. He said, "On Saturday I am going to take you to see Ghost Busters. Because I know how you love the series." "That is great! But I will be planning our second date." I said. "Who said there will be a second date?" Caleb said jokingly. Then we both laughed. I went home to tell my mom and Megan about my date with Caleb. I was kind've nervous about our date though. I mean what would I talk about. I don't know a lot about him. And the only things I do know about him is from their vlogs. What should I do?
