School Mix Up

My mom got a call today from my sisters old elementary school. They were calling to my mom who my sisters new teacher was. It was one of those automated voice messages, which she had to call the school back and let them know that we had moved and my sister wasn't going to be at that school anymore. She even called my old high school to tell them as well, because they probably mixed it up too. I texted Caleb about the mix up, he thought it was hilarious. On top of that we are getting our school stuff tomorrow! I mean they should be in the mail, the textbooks, workbooks, and online stuff we need. I think Caleb got his today which means he's starting school in the next couple days. But honestly, I think Caleb just wants to do school with me. Being in the 8th grade i'm learning physics and government, and no it's not actual physics. It's just the name of a government class. I'll also take Algebra and 8th grade English, also Biology. I think Caleb's classes are mostly the same since we're in the same grade and using the same home school curriculum K-12. Me, Caleb, Megan, Annie, and Hayley are all using K-12. I had a Softball Game today, and my dad's gonna come. It'll be me, Megan, my mom and dad, Caleb, Annie, Hayley, and Mr. Billy and Mrs. Katie. They're all coming to cheer me on. Caleb and his family had gotten there around the same time we did. When I was going up to meet my team Caleb pulled me back and gave a good luck kiss. Caleb and my dad were the most cheerful ones, they cheered and screamed my name... Even after I struck out! After the game Hayley wanted to head to the playground, so we all did just that. Me and Caleb hadn't had any alone time since the days my dad had been back. He was also in Australia with his family and Paige, so we headed into the tunnel for some alone time of our own. We talked about our day and things like that. He even told me that his parents had agreed to let him go to Mexico with us this summer. Which I was so happy about, because that meant we'd have time to hang out by the beach and the pool just by our selves. Of course unless my dad comes, which then won't have any alone time.

HERE'S OUR CONVO:

caleb: So how's your day?

abby: Well I won my game, and i'm with you so pretty good. You?

caleb: Same here, and i'm glad we got some alone time.

dad: What are they doing up there?

katie: Probably hanging out.. I mean they get what they can get.

dad: What's that supposed to mean?

mom: Honey, it's fine. They just want to hang out... They haven't had much alone time since you've been around.

dad: I'm sure Billy feels the same way with Caleb!

katie: Dad's and daughters aren't the same as dad's and sons. It's a different relationship between the two.

mom: Known fact

caleb: I can't wait to go to Mexico with you this summer.

abby: Wait! Your parents are seriously letting you go?!

caleb: Yep. They said since baseball camp isn't in the mix, and I won't have practices starting till July. I'll be extra good.

abby: I'm so happy! Just as long as my dad doesn't come... Then we won't have any alone time. But i'm sure he'll be saving up for his apartment, so he probably won't have the time to go anyway.

caleb: Your dad being there wouldn't b--- (cut off)

hayley: Won't be where?

abby: Mexico.

hayley: I wish I could go, but I have Gymnastics all summer...

annie: What are we doing in here?

Everyone joins in.

katie: everyone it's time to go.

all the kids: Okay, we're coming.

After the game we all went home. Caleb had Baseball practice and Hayley had Gymnastics practice so we couldn't hang. But I got to text Caleb for the rest of the day.... Well for most of it. My mom wanted me and Megan to spend some quality time with her and my dad, so went bowling and out to eat at Carrabbas which I love! Ugh, but it was cell phone free... My mom didn't even have her cell phone on her. Bur once I got home I went to bed and texted Caleb all night. It was storming and Megan got scared, so she asked if she could sleep with me. And of course I said yes, because if not she'd be screaming her head off.
