Dad?!?

So today me, Megan, and my mom are planning our summer trip to Mexico. We are staying in Playa Del Carmen like we usually do. We are also staying at our usual resort, the Viva Whyndam Azteca. Which everything about it is amazing! I really want to invite Caleb this year. I just hope that with Baseball and all he'll be able to come. I texted him saying that I wanted to come over and tell him something, but as soon as I opened the door a familier face appeared. It was my dad! "Oh my gosh, dad!", I said. 

HERES THE WHOLE CONVO:

dad: Hey Abb.

megan: Who's this? Mom stranger danger!!!

Abby: No Megan... It's dad... You probably don't remember what he looks like.

mom: Jacks?!? What are you doing here?...

dad: Well.. I came here for the girls. And... To get a fresh start.

Abby: What with your drugs and all...

mom: Abby! Don't say such unspeakable things!

Abby: It's true...

mom: Where'd you even here th--- (cut off)

dad: I understand, feelings can be hurt. But I am trying. I'm off that stuff, and I even have a job. I just need a place to live till I get back on my feet and get an apartment.

megan: Yah, daddy's moving back in!!!!!!

Abby: I don't know how I feel about this? You just coming here all of a sudden...

I stormed out of the house and ran to Caleb's he was outside waiting. I guess he was probably gonna come to my house to see what I had to tell him. He saw me crying and asked what was the matter.

HERE'S OUR CONVO:

caleb: Abby what's wrong?! What did you have to tell me?

abby: My families having a trip to mexico and I want you to come. But that's not why i'm upset...

caleb: What's wrong then?

abby: My dad... He's back. He just came here out of no where, and now he want's to live with us temporarly! He can't do this to me!

caleb: Well technically he's your dad and he can. But you have to talk to him about all of this.

abby: I'm not going back there as long as he's there. I just need some space for a bit. 

Caleb text Abby's mom saying she's fine and they're going to hang at his house for a bit, because she needs space. They open the door and walk inside, with Abby still crying.

katie: What's wrong Abby?

caleb: Abby and Megan's dad is here. He also want's to move in with them.

All of them give her a big hug and tell her that it's going to be okay. Caleb reassures me that everything is going to be fine, and that he'll go over to my house with me if I wanted him too. We head over to my house, as we walk in we see my parent's and sister sitting on the couch. My mom tells me that if it's okay she has decided to let my dad move in with us temporarly. I told all of them that it was fine, and that we should go over to my dad's work tomorrow and check things out. Caleb introduces himslef to my dad as my boyfriend. Of course my dad is hesitant at first, but then shakes his hand. I told Caleb he go home now, and that he didn't have to stay. He ask me over 20 times if i'm sure that i'm okay. I tell him that I am fine, and reassure him to home. That night me, megan, and my dad talked for hours about past memories, most of which Megan doesn't remember. The rest of the night me and Caleb texted all night till we both fell asleep. I woke up the next day and woke up Megan as well. We were going over to my dad's job to check his office out. My mom had work that day, but she said if we went during her lunch break that she could make it. We ended up going around 9 when my dad had to be into work. He worked as one of those people at phone companies who help people out when they come in. He works for Verizon in a 2 story building, they have the first floor for phones and the second floor for internet and tv. We got to stay there for 2 hours till my mom showed up on her lunch break. She said that she was impressed with what job my dad had gotten. After we showed her the place my mom took us home before going back to work, and we got Arby's on the way home. It may not always be the same as it used to, but I think i'll like my dad moving in with us!
