Jordyn Grant, an Olympic gymnast, meets Olympic swimmer Nathan Adrian, and immediately hits it off with him. So what happens when the two athletes fall in love with each other?
The girls and I got ready for the pool competition. I was so excited to see Nathan swim! The boys had managed to get us front row seats. Only Nathan and Michael were racing tonight, but Michael raced first. Michael dominated the heats for the 200m butterfly swim. Next it was Nathan's turn for the 200m freestyle swim, he won! I jumped up and down, shouting in excitement. Nathan's eye caught mine and he smiled. Soon other swimmers went, such as Missy Franklin, Katie Ledecky, and Natalie Coughlin, but only one caught my eye, and that was Nathan. He looked so hot when he was swimming, it was impossible for me to take my eyes off him. A hand waved in front of me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Jordyn, hello, it's time to go," Gabby said. "Oh, right, sorry," I rushed out embarrassed. "Thinking about Nathan were you," she laughed. I groaned and walked ahead of her to catch up with the other girls.
"Hey babe," Nathan said when he saw me, hugging me in the process. "Babe, Michael said loudly," when did that happen?" "My thoughts exactly," Jordan said raising an eyebrow at me. I opened my mouth to respond, but Nathan beat me to it. "Around the same time you to happened, that's when." I laughed while Michael and Jordan stood there stunned. Jordan's mouth opened to say something, but was silenced when I raised my hand and walked off.
"So, you guys are gonna be at the gymnastics gym tomorrow, right?" Kyla asked. "Sorry girls, not tomorrow, we have a race," Nathan said," but we'll be watching from the ready room, right boys." The other boys nodded and we continued walking towards the village. Nathan fell back from the group and were a good length behind them when he stopped us. "So, Jordyn I was wondering if you want to be my girlfriend? I like you a lot and I want to be with you." Nathan smiled at me, waiting for a reaction, but I stood there still taking his words in. Nathan's smile dropped and he looked down at me with a small frown. I looked up at him and smiled and hugged him. "I'd be honored to," I kissed him within saying the words. Nathan smiled and kissed me back. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace with the letter N dangling from it. "I got you this to be a good luck charm, when I'm not always there with you at your competitions, because your my good luck charm even your not with me," he said. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist,"I love it." He turned me around, "here, let me put it on." He put it on and I turned around and kisses him once more. He grabbed my hand and we ran to catch up with the others.
I laid in my bed, with my hand fondling my necklace that Nathan gave. I was Nathan Adrian's official girlfriend! I smiled, turned over and fell asleep thinking about my beautiful boyfriend, Nathan Ghan-jun Adrian.
