Chapter 2

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Day 2. Here we go.

I get ready for school wearing a grey v neck and black skinny jeans. I put a Tar Heels hoodie on cause that's my dream college, plus HELL YEAH, TAR HEELS! I grab all the stuff I need in my room and make my way downstairs. While walking down I hear shouting.

"Your daughter is a fuckin dyke!"
"No, she isn't you asshole!"
"What did you just call me?"
"...Nothing"
"No, you called me an asshole didn't you!?"
Then I hear a scream. I make my way downstairs as fast as I can.

I see David kicking my mom in the ribs as I walk to the kitchen. "Oh hell no!" I yell while running towards David. I push him off my mom and tackle him down. I start punching him in the face. My mom grabs me and tried to hold me back. I turned around to check if she was ok. She had a cut under her left eye, her bottom lip was swollen, and I could tell her ribs were hurting by the way she was holding her stomach.

I was about to ask her if she was ok but got interrupted by David tackling me. He punched me in the face multiple times and got up. He started kicking my stomach and I coughed up blood. I grabbed his leg when he was about to kick me again and twisted his ankle. He yelped in pain and fell to the ground. I grabbed his shirt collar. "If you hurt my mom again, I will end you," I say with anger and push him back down. I got up and saw my mom sitting down on the ground with pain written all over her eyes. I limp to her and hug her. I forget all about the pain just to hug my mom.

"Are you ok, ma?" I ask so worried.
"Yeah, I'll just go to the hospital." She says with a reassuring smile.
"Do you need help?" I say returning a small, worried smile.
"No sweetie, you go ahead and get to school. Your lunch is on the counter and take a muffin to eat while going there." She says getting up slowly. I get up as well and hug her one last time.
I kiss the top of her head and say, "If he hurts you again, call me."
"Of course, sweetie." She says while smiling at me. I head out the house grabbing my food and my long board along the way.

I skate all the way to school while eating my muffin. While on my way I hear someone yell my name. I stop and look to my left to see Alex jogging up to me.
"Uh hey, Alex." I say. She's almost next to me when she gasps.
"What?" I ask and she grabs my face to look at it.
"What happened, Tobin?" She asks and then I remember that I didn't look in the mirror before I left. I pull my face away from her hands.
"Nothing, I'm fine." I start walking away but she grabs my hand and pulls me back.

She pulls me back and into I assume to be her house. She brings me to her room and tells me to sit on the bed.
She walks out and returns with a first aid kit. She grabs some gauze and puts alcohol on it. She puts it on the bottom of my cheek and I wince.
"Sorry." She says sheepishly.
She looks cute when she's focused. She was furrowing her eyebrows cleaning my cuts.

About 10 minutes later...
"Done." She says while putting the alcohol back in the first aid kit and setting it aside. She sits next to me.
"Thanks." I say looking into her beautiful blue eyes.
"So are you gonna tell me what happened?" She asks biting her lip. I hesitate.
"Ok, yeah." I say and I tell her everything about that morning and about David.

"I'm so sorry." She tells me while putting her hand on mine. I look up and meet her eyes. I give her a small smile.
"It's, ok." We keep eye contact and she looks down at my lips and back to my eyes. She grabs the right side of my face with her right hand and has the other one on my hand still. She slowly leans in and I lean in too.

Our lips meet and we move into a rhythm. She moves onto my lap without breaking the kiss, wrapping her legs around me. She wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap mine around her waist. We pull away leaning our foreheads together.
"We should get to school." I say still out of breathe.
"Yeah... But first." She says and she goes in for another kiss.

We kiss this time with more passion. I lick her lips asking for entrance which she immediately grants. She moans when I roam around in her mouth. We then battle for dominance with our tongues and I let her win. I moan and feel her groan in pleasure by my moan. I bite her lip and she moans. I slowly pull away while biting her lip, and finally release it.

My eyes are still closed as I try to catch my breathe. I finally open them and meet warm blue eyes.

I get up still holding her and she slowly removes her legs around my waist. I place her down and she still has her arms around my neck. We look into each other's eyes. She removes her arm around me. I turn around to grab my longboard and backpack. I grab them and turn back around. Alex was staring at me. I start walking to the door. But was yanked by my collar and kissed by soft lips. I kiss back and we pull away after 30 seconds. I open my eyes and her's are still closed. She still has my collar.

She sighs and opens her eyes. She pulls me closer and she goes to the side to whisper in my ear. I feel chills down my spine as her hot breath hits my ear.

"I want you, Tobin Heath."
I gulp.
"And I'll make you mine."
She lets go and turns around. She stops at the door and turns back around facing me. She winks and I feel myself blush a little.
"Come on, we're already late." She says while walking away.
I pray to God that school will be ok and I will survive.
