The Training Starts

Hi everyone! Thanks for the positivity so far on this book! I'm really enjoying writing it! And hope in this segment u enjoy the #NaLu moments I've slotted in!

"Right, no idea how we are gonna do this but we will get through it!" Said Natsu in the most cheerful tone he could muster, "It gonna be hard as you have way more power then I do, you have every dragon slayer magic possible!! How am I supposed to compete with that!" he said, whilst looking slightly downhearted.
"Don't worry! You will always be the saviour in my eyes..." Lucy said and instantly blushed at realizing how cheesy that was, "Anyway, so u gonna help or not!" She pumped her fist up in the air as a sign to begin, and just happy she could change the subject...

Natsu and Lucy, obviously followed by Happy, walked into the nearby park which was next to the guild. It was usually practice grounds for many young starter wizards. (A/N- I made this up btw! ^.~)

"So okay let me tell you how to call upon your power, or powers in your case!" Said Natsu smiling confidently at Lucy, "So first you need to think of your power, and which one your gonna use, then think of a move, then last but not least think of a motive to boost the power to let it flow! Sound easy?"
Lucy stared at Natsu full of puzzlement, "Wait, yeh most of them sound okay. However, what would be my motive?"

Natsu thought for a moment before replying, "Well my motive is obviously Igneel... As I think how hard he trained me and all those years we were together and how he would be disappointed if I didn't give it my all..." Natsu stared into the distance for a moment, until finally carrying on, "Unless you can somehow remember your dragon, I don't know what you'd use as your motive? Maybe how great it feels to kick peoples butts!" He laughed.

"Errrrr... Maybe not. I wish I could remember my dragons name, however I cant seem to recall it at all. I'll have to think of one quickly just for now..." Lucy thought intently for a moment before sighing, "I guess in all other battles Fairy Tail and all my great friends has been my motive, and deep down it always will be." She smiled directly at Natsu, causing him to turn away and blush a little.
"Yeh sure that sounds... Great!" Natsu said enthusiastically, "let's start now! Think of the power, let's do ice first, then think do the move," Lucy, filled with determination, set her mind to it and somehow froze the big oak in the middle of the park without having to say or do anything, the tree just froze...
"Wow..." Natsu said, his mouth making an 'O' shape in awe, "Pretty impressive! Let's do the others! Seems you have the knack!"

(definition- An acquired or natural skill at something)

=======TIME SKIP=======
SIX HOURS LATER

"Please, *pant* *pant* a short *pant* rest..." Lucy begged, she was famished and parched after doing such a long training session, and all she wanted to do was to go home write a bit of her new story, and get in a relaxing, clean bath!
"Wow Lucy! You did great! I think you've actually almost mastered them! To think in such a short amount of time!! I'm shocked!" Natsu said running, also breathing heavily, up to her, "I think Gramps will be very pleased!"
Together they started walking back to the guild, "Hey you guys! I'm hungry!" Whined Happy behind them.
"So am I lil' buddy! We will be back soon to the guild where we can stuff our faces full of Mira's great cooking!" Happy and Natsu drooled simultaneously!
"Oh that reminds me... I need to ask you a question Natsu. Are... Umm you and Lisanna, you know, together?" Lucy said slightly blushed a light shade of pink.
"Me?! Lisanna?! No way! We are just friends... I know she sometimes thinks we are but that was a while ago when we played... that sort of game. So no it your answer!" Smiled Natsu as they entered the guild hall.
"Mhmm...okay..." Mumbled Lucy.

"HI GUYS!" Everyone came running up and talking to them all of a sudden. About the training and the magic... Whether it went alright or not!
"It did indeed go well, I can feel the magic power better than ever before," smiled Makarov.
"WE ARE FAMISHED!!" Cried Natsu and Happy in unison!
"Okay, okay guys clam down," said Mira making a downwards motion with her hands, "Here you go." She said whilst laying down two plates full of chicken and fish, "Enjoy!" She said and walked back behind the bar... Where Lisanna was still staring at Natsu....

*SHORT*
NATSU'S POV

"Hey, are... Umm you and Lisanna, you know, together?" Lucy asked me whilst we were walking back to the hall.
I turned around and looked at her, thoughts rushing through my mind.
"Me?! Lisanna?! No way! We are just friends... I know she thinks we are sometimes but that was a while ago," I answer quickly before she got the wrong message.
'I wonder why she is asking me this question... Is she hinting she shares my feelings? No, come to your senses Natsu!' I thought and turned away from her to blush a deep shade of pink...
She mumbled something I wasn't able to hear because as we entered the guild hall we were flocked with people! All asking us about our training! I smile and nodded to some of the questions.
However I still couldn't get Lucy's question out of my head... I caught Lisanna staring at me from behind the counter. She quickly looked away.
Later me and Happy tucked into a great deal of food! It was delicious! And succulent! But it was a little disconcerting as I did catch Lisanna staring at me again...
'I really hope she doesn't think we are together... Oh no.' I thought as I saw Lisanna grab Lucy and firmly but subtly drag her outside..., 'she'll be fine...' I thought, 'at least  I hope she will be...'
