'Sh*t, his focus, I must have broken his focus... we are in for a rough time now.' I stopped looking over my shoulder at jackal who was also looking very worried. "Hah! Wow, little miss blonde comes and tries to save the day, but in the end she gets her new little boyfriend and her obliterated!" Lisanna was still perched atop the unstable stack of chairs in the middle of the hall. I my myself getting hotter, I could feel the blush slowly creeping from my collarbone all the way to my cheeks. That made me even more livid. "So what if we are together? At least I don't have to hypnotize her to actually keep her near me! Unlike your relationship with Natsu!" Jackal stood beside me and put an arm around my shoulders, pulling me towards him. I blushed even deeper. Lisanna looked dumbstruck at his comment, but then recovered quickly, "Well I won't have to when I have killed his only love! Well, more specifically when he has killed his only love!" She cackled again. "What are you going to make Natsu do! Leave him out of this, this is against you and me!" "Yes dear bimbo. But Natsu is practically a part of me, I control him!" Lisanna looked straight into my eyes, a deep fire burning. A groan came from the ground, Natsu was slowly getting up. He looked straight in our direction without even flinching. He walked straight towards me, he was almost close enough to kill me there and then. Until a larger muscular body placed itself in between me and him. "Jackal," I breathed in silent relief. "Natsu you will not hurt my Lulu. She is mine, and mine to protect." He shouted right at his face, "I will fight you again if needed!" "Move, mutt." Natsu growled menacingly. "Hell no. If you touch her even once, I will annihilate you." Natsu stepped back challenging jackal to take the first hit, but jackal was cleverer than that, he waited patiently until the time was right. Natsu started fast towards him, but a little of to the left not straight at him, giving jackal a good hit to his right side. Jackal jumped up and slammed down his fist on Natsu's already hurt shoulder. Natsu fell for a second before pushing himself slowly back up, he chuckled, "Is that all you got?" Natsu stood and punched jackal with a balled fist straight in his face, it sent him flying into the other wall. "Wow, I didn't even have to make him do that... he must have really hated that guy for stealing his girl!" Lisanna bite her lip, and put a finger to the corner of her mouth, as if she were contemplating something, she smirked at me. "No Natsu would never hurt someone like that!" I cried with such conviction it surprised even me. "Ha. Well really? You must not know jealous Natsu then, let me introduce him to you..." she said laughing, pointing at Lucy, "Come on Natsu, don't you want to destroy her? She left you! She doesn't like or care for you anymore!... Natsu?" Lisanna stopped, Natsu was bent over, breathing heavily. "You're right Lisanna. She did betray me. And she will pay." He swung around to face me head on, "Hear that Luce! It's your fault!" "Natsu..." I whispered backing away from the now blazing angry fire dragon, but I could see tears streaming down his face.
