The air had a heavy feel to it. The cold shivering wind made Stephanie shake in her bones. Her comfortable coat wrapped tightly around her body. The maroon color that brings out her tan, slightly pale, and bright blue eyes. Her dark brown messy curls fall right below her shoulders. Each breath she took, the air would freeze it. "Hello, Angel Eyes."
Stephanie shift around and rolls her eyes. "Would you stop calling me that? Pet names are for people in love. Yuck why do people even call each other gooey stupid pet names?"
Jason comes closer to her huddle in a large coat himself. He wraps an arm around her shoulders. Her body pulls away from him.
"Come on I'm freezing. I promise this isn't me flirting. If I was flirting with you it would be more like this.." He completes his sentence by rubbing his hand down her side to her back pocket on her jeans. Stephanie swats his hand away.
She shakes her head. "Okay I get it you creep. You're not always in a flirting mood, and you don't want me twenty four seven."
"Okay I never said I didn't want you.." She hits him in the chest making his hand touch where she hit him. "Oww, Steph. Now I'm wounded. I mean you do look exactly like your mom. How I have to say looks twenty not fourty. Come on us Barns have always hit on your family. My dad hits on your mom constantly as a joke."
Once again, her light blue eyes roll at his stupidity. "Remind me why I'm friends with you again. I have way better things to do then listen to your annoying stories about our parents."
"Would you loosen up a bit, Angel Eyes? By the way, my story telling is way better then any crappy book you read. Who even reads books?" The blue eyed girl started walking away from Jason mid sentence. "Hey. Where are you going? I'm not done talking to you. You didn't even let me add in my flirtatious comment."
A tiny chuckle comes from Stephanie. "Wow. Umm.. Let's see this whole nobody reads book comment. Why would they make books if 'nobody read them'? You judt hate the thought of me paying attention to something that isn't you."
"Yes." The answer is simply and for once truthful. "Stephanie." He whines. "Let's hang out and do something. You're my best friend. We grew up together. Our parents are best friend. Which makes us best friends. It's simple math."
"Jason, you can't even do simple math."
Jason stops Stephanie from walking any further. "Okay fair enough. Ask me a question and I bet I can get it right. If I get IG right and only if. Then you have to go out with me. On a date."
"That sounds like something I have a hundred percent winning rate at. I'll be math so get your tiny brain working now."
Jason groans at this. "Wait-what math? Seriously? You really don't want this date do you? Come on something easier like... Who was on the cover of playboy magazine in December of 1987?"
"Eww no. Math it is. What is 12 times 12? You have twenty seconds to answer."
"Damn Stephanie. How the hell am I going to know something like that? You know that I sleep during math and that I only watch the girls in the lowest cut shirt."
Stephanie smirks at Jason. "Then I guess your going to stay as my idiot friend that I talk to you only because our parents are friends."
"Oh is the answer 24?" Jason tries to answer a number be knew had something to do with twelve in some way. Stephanie shakes her head with a still covering her face. She starts walking with Jason on hot on her tail. "13? 123? 81? Which is it?"
The dark brown curly head girl is still laughing at all of the guesses Jason is trying to come up with. Snow starts coming down a little harder covering up their foot prints.

°This was only an introduction to my story. The chapters will be much longer, but I was just giving you a tiny feel of the characters. Jason is kinda slow when it comes to things and Stephanie is kinda of a girl to keep her feelings at bay. It may look like there is no feelings between the two, but even a blizzard can change feelings between two people. A blizzard is to come FYI. See you next time and don't forget to send covers to my email...
