 I yelped when David suddenly dropped me, I landed on my chest as Nyx settled herself onto my back. I blinked open my eyes and looked up at David, he was glaring hatefully at a group of approaching boys. They all had similar body builds and they all radiated power Benson helped me up also glaring but less harsh.

 He brushed off my chest, "David we need to settle it another time. There are humans with us, not to mention our mate." Benson's hand tightened on my arm and he pulled me closer to him as the group stopped in front of us.

 David growled deeply, the man with the curly black hair and yellow eyes responded with a harsher growl "Dave, Benny. Long time no see." David tsked and raised his head looking down on the curly haired man, "Josh. Have you recovered already? I was hoping you'd stay in the hospital longer, embarrass your pack less."

 Josh's eyes flashed, I frowned and grabbed David's hand and tugged him back to face me "That was harsh David." He dropped his angry face as he looked at me, he lowered his head "But he-!" I gave him a look that cut him off.

 I pulled from Benson's hold and turned to the guy, I smiled "Hello. I'm Todd." He took in my short frame, my out stretched hand, and my somewhat dirty attire. My wings tingled being pressed to my back snuggly, completely out of his view. He leaned down and sniffed me making Nyx hiss at him and tighten her tail's grip on my waist.

 I flinched and patted her paw on my shoulder "Easy with the tail." She cooked and loosened it a bit, Josh snorted and growled at the same time, his eyes turning back to David and Benson. "Who the fuck is this? You dragging around pathetic little boys now? Perverts."

 My eye twitched and I second guessed my scolding David, his insult to my mates irritated me. My smile fell and I coughed once staring at him blankly. "Please refrain from calling them names, I've lost my temper once today already and the results were messy." His eyes flashed to a different color briefly making his body tense up.

 He looked stunned, and confused as hell "You... Make my wolf nervous. Who exactly are you?" He squinted and reached over to touch me. Something in my gut told me he was off, this guy was not to be trusted.

 I grabbed his hand tightly, and looked up at his face. Slowly a smile crept onto his face, one of those smiles that put people on edge.

 "You're strong. My wolf says we should court you, with such a powerful mate by my side my pack's strength would easily be tripled." I shivered at the thought and my palm heated up rapidly, his smile fell and he jerked away from me. I sighed and let my hand fall back to my side "Sorry I stopped you David. Please, by all means, hurt him."

 David chuckled at me and ruffled my hair "He is the next alpha of our rival pack, his family has a long history of war with my family. Do my brother and I a favor and stay away from him." I smiled up at him and was suddenly pulled back and vines wrapped around my arms gently.

 I came face to face with a short girl, her deep red hair had leaves, flowers, branches, and vines weaved into it making it look three times larger than it really was. It was horribly matted and it oddly suited her though it made her look much smaller than she already was. Her skin was very tan, her eyes a solid orange-yellow, the dress she wore was made of various plant materials. She was bare foot and had what appeared to be small tree roots weaving under the skin of her legs.

 She smiled widely at me "You're Todd! Mitch says Fifi would like Todd, Fifi does indeed like Todd. I'm Fifi." I pushed my eyebrows together, she must be the last Elemantal, earth. 

 Bell and Jenny awed at the plant girl in front of me and pulled her into a sandwitch hug, "Oh my gosh you are so adorable!" Benson tapped my arm, "Alright let's keep going. Mr. Donale isn't the nicest of teachers and is already upset we are late."
