-Jin POV-

I took a deep breath and finally finished doing my tie.

"Done." I said and smiled at my reflection.

Graduation day.

It's finally come for me. It's here!

I've been waiting forever.

Since the day I received my college acceptance letter, I've looked forward to earning my degree.

Throughout all the restless nights, essays, exams, humiliation, competition, and heartbreaks... I made it.

If I can do it, then anyone can.

No one can bring me down now. I guarantee it.

"Jin~ are you ready?" My mom asked.

I chuckled and slipped into my black gown.

"Where's my cap?" I asked, "Mom! Have you--"

"You left it downstairs yesterday." My mom said as she walked inside handing me my cap.

I sighed and placed it over my head and adjusted it.

"Well. How do I look?" I asked.

My mom held back her tears and covered her mouth.

"Mom?" I said.

"You look so handsome as always baby." She said and sniffled, "Oh my gosh I'm so proud of you."

I smiled, "Aw. Don't cry. You should be happy!"

"I am! I'm crying tears of joy! Oh come here!" She cried and hugged me.

"Heh... mom." I uttered and tried to get her off me.

"My only son is finally going to do big boy things and have big boy responsibilities." She said.

"Mom I'm a man now." I reminded, "Not a boy."

She pulled away and wiped her tears, "To me you'll always be my boy. My baby! I don't care if you're 40. I will call you my baby for as long as I live!"

I laughed, "Sure mom.."

"Ok!" My dad cheered and walked inside my room with a camera, "There he is! The first graduate of the Kim family! Smile~"

My mom pulled me close to her and smiled, I giggled and did so as well.

*click*

"Goodness gracious Jin, you're so photogenic I never noticed." My dad mentioned.

I scowled at him.

My mom laughed, "Stop teasing him! Lets go take a picture outside. I'll go get Betsy!"

I sighed as my mom ran out of my room to get my baby sister.

My dad looked at me and smiled, "I always new this day would come."

"Duh? You didn't raise an idiot." I assured and winked.

He chuckled, "I am so proud. You're graduating on time, you'll be moving into your own place soon, and you're about to start an internship as well! It's like, you have the golden ticket son. You sure deserve all the best that's yet to come."

I nodded, "I hope so.. this is a new start for me."

"Don't worry, as long as you stay committed, and work hard, you'll do great."

I smiled, "Thanks dad."

He patted my back, "C'mon, lets go take a picture so I can frame it and show it off when guest come over!"
