"No! Please! Give me time!" I heard the thug yell at Riun.
"I ain't got time. I don't give shit!" He yells. This is where I save the thug.
I run up behind Riun and hug his waist.
"Don't do it." I whisper.
He only laughs. "Not this time." I heard a loud bang and the guy hits the floor. That was the first time I actually saw someone kill another person like that. I couldn't help but stare at the figure.
"You shot him! He/ he's dead." I look up at Riun.
"Yea." He says. He grabs my hand then puts a gun it it.
"This is your gun." He says.

"Thank you?" I say in a question way. I look at the man before Riun grabs my face and kisses me.
"Don't worry about that thug okay?" He looks me in the eyes.
"Okay." I nod.
We walk out and made sure to cover our tracks. We going back to our house.
I'm 15 and I ran away from my life to start a new life in LA I was with my big sister but she didn't care if I left so I did then I found Riun. He was so sweet and he still is. He never cusses or yell in front of me unless I'm in my room where I could barely here it. He never touched me in a way sexually or hurt fully. I go to a type of private school since he doesn't think it's safe for public schools.

"Where we going?" I ask.

I took a quick shower before putting on some shorts with a shirt.

He drove for a while and he told me to go to sleep.
"I ain't sleepy." I say.
"Go to sleep, Nicole. I can't let you see where we gonna go." He says.
I sigh before closing my eyes and pretend like I was sleep.
"You ain't sleep. Do I have to make you go to sleep?" He asks.
"It takes time for me to fall asleep, Riun!" I complain.
"Alright." He pulls to the side of the road and gets out. He goes to the trunk and comes back with something in a box.
He grabs my neck and pulls me close to him and puts a cloth around my nose.
In a instant, I was out.
