An Angels Diary

Chapter 2: Where am I?

When Michiyo opened her eyes everything was blurry. When her sight got clear she saw she is laying on a grass field. When she tried to get up her back was in pain. She screamed and kneed down. She tried to touch her back and she felt two really big scar.

"- My wings...." - a tear started to run down on her cheek. She became a human and lost her beautiful snowwhite wings.

She tried to stand up again and decided to search a place where she can stay. The sun was about to go down so she had to find a place to stay quickly. And she wore only a white nightgown. It was getting really cold too. After a few minutes of walking she found an old church. The windows were colorful and some of them were broken. Michiyo was staring at the building.

"-What a building." - she was amazed, then she continued.
"-So this is the place where humans are praying to God."

She decided to go in.. She opened the door what wasn't even locked. She was even more amazed now. There were the benches, a big statue of someone, crosses all over the walls. She was walking forward to the statue to show her respect, when she saw a newspaper laying on the floor. It was really dusty, but she grabbed it. The front page was still readable even with the dust it said: The Priest commits suicide in London.

"- Oh! It says it happened in 1999. Thats so sad." - she hold the newspaper and started to walk again to the Statue. When she reached it she put it down and kneed down. Then she pushed her hands together and said:

"- Dear Father.. Brother Michael.. I don't know what to do.. I'm...I'm scared.. I wanna go home... I wanna see my Brothers and Sisters.. Please someone tell me that they survived too...

Michiyo started to cry. She wanted everyone to survive the fall. Her thoughts vanished away when she heared footsteps behind herself.
