Sapphire Gracen can make a weapon of anything. Magic, her fists, pretty lies, dirty truths. This tends to come in handy in a world of dark magic and witches, wherein little girls have the power to kill and the power to break cities down to their foundations.
Things are changing in the realm of magic. It's been over 200 years since the last death at Belreistkov, but it's becoming hard to deny the truth — that children of the realm are dying once more. That their corpses are being strewn around campus for all to see.
Arlo Torres became the first victim after the horrors of 1808, and while Sapphire Gracen doesn't know much about Arlo's death, she knows one thing — that he didn't kill himself. She knows that the police are shoving falsities down their throats and that it's dangerous to choke them up, but she's a girl of fists and fury, and she isn't going down without a fight.
Looking for answers becomes a dangerous thing, but Sapphire is just as deadly a thing, and there isn't much that can get in her way.
With an ever-growing treasury of secrets, four Half-Witches search for answers in an increasingly deathly world, hellbent on finding the killer and bringing them to their knees.
Four Half-Witches are pushed into a world that not everyone can survive.

hi everyone! thank you for your support and for being here (even tho i wrote a crappy synopsis that everyone can just pretend didn't happen lmao).
i just wanted to mention a few things before we get started. this'll function as a warning/message/thing just so you all know what you're getting into here (besides some shitty writing courtesy of me, of course).
AOAG started as a spark of an idea and just exploded from there. i tried putting it off because i was writing other things (that i cannot and will not mention because i'm still embarrassed about them).
once those other "things" i called novels fizzled off, i just couldn't get these characters and the world out of my head, so i started planning it and eventually starting writing. the characters have made a little home in my heart and honestly i'm scared to push them out into the real world.
having said that, every character (though the main characters specifically) will experience some form of abuse. while the descriptions aren't too graphic, there will be main character deaths and also a suicide attempt. i don't take writing it lightly, and i've tried to find a way around it, but i don't believe there's a way to show the damage of the killer's actions without it. the chapter will have a warning, so if you don't feel comfortable reading it, you can skip or stop reading and i won't blame you. if you skip it, you won't miss out on anything plot-wise.
the same characters will act out in different (and extreme) ways. they experience extreme emotions like anger, angst, and guilt. they'll get angry and they'll swear. hell, they swear even when they aren't angry. the language is mild at worst, but just so you're aware of it.
also, just a note — "good" characters become victims and sometimes this causes them to act out toward others. i.e. good characters do bad things and it doesn't always make them "bad" people.
this is a rough draft and i'm still working out everything, so there will be mistakes and plot holes and all around imperfect writing, but i'm learning and growing and sewing pieces of myself into this work. i can't say how long it'll be, only that the end won't really be the end *tries to wink but it just ends up looking like my eye's twitching uncontrollably, which it tends to sometimes do*
this one's for me, but it's also for you, so i hope you'll stick around to see what happens.
thank you again x
