Chapter 10

EricaP.O.V.

Me and Erik walked down the hall together. I was wearing a white long button up sleeve shirt, a leather short skirt,black leggings,and boots. We stopped as we saw Charles and that CIA man talking while looking outside the window. I saw a big white sphere outside.

"Hank turned that radar insulation into a transmitter. It's designed to amplify brain waves, so it can enhance your telepathic powers. Help us find other mutants for our division." The CIA man said.

"Well they be fond of you." Erik said and their heads snapped towards us. I leaned against the door frame.

"Erica.." Charles looked at me and smiled before looking at Erik.

"Erik you've decided to stay." Charles had a look on his face. Erik nods his head towards Charles and gives me a side glance.

"If a new species is being discovered it should be by its own kind. Charles and I find the mutants.No suits." Erik said.

"I agree with Erik. They shouldn't have big scary me in black suits coming to them. It's should be them." I said.

"First of all that's my machine out there. Second of all and much more importantly this is Charles's decision. Charles is fine with the CIA being involved isn't that right?"

Charles looked at Erik and then back at the man.

"I'm sorry but..I'm with them. We'll find them alone." Charles said.

"What if I say no?"

"Then good luck using your installation with out me." Charles said.

I walked back into my room with a bag in my hand. I saw Sofia sitting on my bed.

"Is that food?" Sofia asked.

"Yep."

She got off my bed and snatched the bag from my hand and ran into her room.

"Animal!" I yelled laughing after wards.

I started to take my boots of and but them in my closet. I started to in button my shirt when Erik came threw the door. I quickly covered myself up.

"Erik!Changing!Knock!" I said.

"Erica.Really?No!" he said.

I notice he was wearing his coat.

"Your leaving." I said a frown on my face.

"Yeah. We got a few locations of some mutants. Me and Charles are going to go and recruit them." Erik said.

"Oh...I didn't think you guys would be leaving so soon." I said.

"You know I'll stay." Erik said. He walked closer to me with a smirk on his face.

"Only if you want me too." He said caressing the side of my face.

"No..leave.Bye have fun." I said.

I pushed past him but he just grabbed my arm and turned me around.

"What? No goodbye hug?" Erik asked with a pout.

I gave him a hug which he returned. I gave him a kiss on the check and pulled away.

"I guess I have to go. See you later Erica, don't miss me to much." he said.

I rolled my eyes as he made his way towards the door.

"Oh, nice bra." He said with a smile and I grabbed a pillow covering my chest. He gave me a wink before going out the door.
