Chapter 16

SofiaP.O.V.

"Just think, Sofia, in a few days the humans will be gone. And Mutants will rise." Shaw said to me.

After he attacked the CIA and took me he brought me with him inside his little study in his submarine. I was sitting on his couch. My head hanging down.

"I don't care about that! I want you to take me back!"I yelled.

"You know I'm not going to do that. Soon you'll see it my way. The same way Angel sees it." he said.

"Angel is a traitor. She let you kill Darwin! You didn't have to kill him, Shaw." I said.

"He picked the wrong side to fight on. That's why he's dead."

He grabbed my hair and pulled my head up so I would look at him.

"And soon your going to have to choose as well. Either be with us, or ended up like Darwin." He said.

EricaP.O.V.

Charles made me have to come with him, Erik, Hank as they tested Sean again to see if he could try to fly. Since I guess the first time they did it didn't end well. I didn't want too, but that end up with Erik and Charles both dragging me by my arms all the way up to the top of the satellite. I was next to Eric leaning against the railing as I looked down. We were up pretty high.

Hank had strapped the wings on Sean again and he moves towards the edge where he would jump off.

"You truly believe I will fly this time?" Sean asked Charles.

"Unreservedly." Charles said.

"I trust you."

"I'm touched."

"I don't trust him." Sean said pointing at Hank.

"Say nothing." Charles said to Hank.

"I'm gonna die!" Sean says.

I roll my eyes. For god sakes!

"No your not." I said.

"Look we're not going to make you do anything you don't feel-"

"Here, let me help." Erik said.

Before we could react Erik pushed Sean off the satellite.

"Erik!" Charles yelled.

As Sean made it to the bottom he starred screaming and then he was flying. I laughed and cheered before I hit Erik in the chest.

"You bastard, what is wrong with you?" I said.

"What? You both know you were thinking the same." He said with a smile.

I shook my head as he wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to him. I saw Charles grinning at us from the side but ignored him.

"Raven, I would like to try this without being watched every damn second for once!" I said.

"Charles is with Erik, an he wants me here to make sure you practice." she said.

Here I was back in the Library. While Charles was helping Erik. I pouted at Raven.

"I already know the 'key' to how I shape things. I just have to find a way to bring them to life." I said.

I sighed. How was I going to do that?

"What am I going to make?" I asked out loud.

"A Butterfly."

I looked at Raven.
