Genji,Green, cyborg, ninja, dude

Hey guys!So I decided to start with genji because you know he is first on hero select (duh).And no I didnt come up with the green ninja dude name.Actually a game dev called him like that when they didnt have a name for him.Anyway here is some basic info about him:

Abilities

Cyber Agility:So because Genji is pretty much a robot(more info 'bout that in his lore down below)he has the ability to double jump and wall climb.You can double jump by pressing the space button twice and wall climb if you hold down space while moving towards a wall.

Shuriken(Right Click):His right click makes him fire 3 deadly shurikens at target in quick succession.Each shuriken will deal 28 damage(56 if headshot).He is able to shoot every one second.He can hold up to 24 shurikens,loses 3 per shot and thus making him reload.His reload time is 1 second

Fan of Blades(Left Click):His left click makes him fire 3 shurikens in a wider spread.The only other difference is his attack speed being able to shoot 1.77 shots per second rather than 1.

Swift strike(LShift):Swift strike makes Genji dash in the direction of the cursor damaging each enemy he hits for 50 HP.He can dash to a maximum of 14 meters.The ability's cooldown is 8 secs althought it gets refreshed whenever Genji kills an enemy or uses Dragonblade.

Deflect(E):When used,Genji deflects any upcoming enemy projectiles from the direction he is facing shooting them back them back to the direction of your cursor.The ability lasts for 2 seconds and has an 8 second cooldown.Using Swift Strike or Dragonblade will cancel Deflect.

Dragonblade(Q):When Genji uses his ultimate ability,he takes his Ōdachi(japanese sword) out and calls upon the dragon gods making him melee for 8 seconds with the exchange of dealing 120 damage per swift.He can hit all enemies that are up to 5 meters away from the direction he is facing.His rate of fire is 1 swift per second.

Backstory

(Decided to say the most memorable parts of each hero's story because if I am going to write every word it will take me forever but dont worry you will not miss out on anything 😋)
So,Genji's bacjstory is pretty interestin'if I say so myself so lets get it started.When Genji was around the age of 19(my guess)his father died.Then his brother Hanzo demanded that Genji took a more active role in their late father's empire. Genji refused, enraging Hanzo.So then because Hanzo got pissed he killed Genji,At least he thought he did 😎.
Genji got rescued by Overwatch and revived by Dr. Angela Ziegler a.k.a. Mercy.He then fought alongside Overwatch just and only to realise that his body was in "war" with the robotic prosthetics they gave him.After his mission was over he became a traveller wandering around the world to find peace.Then he found the omnic monk Zenyatta.He initially rejected Zenyatta's wisdom,Zenyatta would not get deterred.In time Zenyatta became his mentor.Genji learned to accept that although he had a cyborg body, his human soul was intact, and he came to see his new form as a gift and a unique strength.
After that,Genji was for the first time in his life free.

Match-ups

Ok so in this section I am going to be talking about which heroes the chapter's hero Genji in this case can counter and gets countered by.

Heroes that genji counters:
Bastion:Bastion is so annoying for all if the heroes but he is a piece of cake for Genji because you can simply press E when he shoots at you and all of his bullets will go straight back to him and kill him.Keep in mind tho,a good Bastion might stop firing if he realises that you are using your deflect.
Also if a Reinhardt is shielding his Bastion you can still flank them and then kill Bastion and maybe even Reinhardt if you catch him off guard.

Hanzo:Aside for his Scatter Arrow, Hanzo has trouble dealing with targets at close range, making him an easy flanking target for Genji.

Widowmaker:Due to her usual preference to stay in the back, she can easily be flanked by Genji and her scoped shots can be countered with Deflect. Her Venom Mine can still be dangerous if Genji isn't careful.

Heroes that Genji gets countered by:
Ok quick disclaimer,if you are a very good genji there are no counters for you.I mean you are still going to struggle a bit if they are good as well,but if you are a Genji god you will be able to handle them
Symmetra:Her Photon Projector's primary fire can easily target and burn Genji down, while her Sentry Turrets not only deal substantial damage, but also slow him down, making him a much easier target for Symmetra and the rest of her team.Also keep in mind that beam-like attacks such as like Symmetra's turrets and both of her primary weapons cannot be deflected by Genji.
Mei:Like Symmetra,her Endothermic Blaster cannot be deflected by Genji.Also the slow and freeze are deadly for him.
Winston:None of Winston's attacks can be deflected, he has high health, his Tesla Cannon is a wide frontal cleave and his mobility allows him to chase his target. All of those traits combined make him a very dangerous opponent to Genji.

Bedouin(Same as Nomad althought he has a blue thing in his head instead)
