Chapter 1

Kimberly POV

Today was my first day of my new school. I moved here a week ago with my two brothers and adopted sister. My two best friends, Dan and Iris moved here with me, they live in a different area. I walked to the bs stop at the end of my subdivision. Not many people were there, just two other guys, but I'm early anyways. One of the boys have really thick eyebrows and the other has an adorable cowlick. I have a curl that goes in front of my face, and my hair was also white, that's how people notice me.

I had my earphones in and was listening to music, I didn't really notice more people coming to the bus stop. Finally my brothers, Darwin and Cameron, and adopted sister Brea came along. Brea wasn't in a good mood, she had to leave her best friend, Zetta, and is probably never getting a friend. Brea is a pretty rude person, she also has a big attitude, the only one that could stand her is Darwin. Sometimes they get into fights but later on they will turn up and make up. I think of Brea more like a life guard, she stands up to bullies and is almost never afraid. Sometimes I have to remember everybody has a fear sometimes it doesn't show.

My favorite from all my siblings is Cameron, he's amazing. He was star quarter back at our last school and I hope he will still be one here. I looked at Cameron and smiled, he smiled back. I feel much better whenever I'm around them.

Once the bus made it to our spot, I sat next to Brea who was listening to her music. Cameron and Darwin sat behind us. As I looked around the bus, I felt a bit intimated by the tall and strong people around me. I'm actually really short and I'm a bit on the chubby side rather then the skinny side. Brea on the other had is super skinny, and is also a busted girl which causes a lot of states from guys. I'm not going to lie I kinda want her body, just to feel attractive.

Hiriko POV

Today was my first day to school, my old school closed down a few weeks ago for not having enough students, so I have to go to a new school. I told my parents what I want and don't want the school to have, they found one school that fits it. It was called Tomodachi High School. It had a music room where I can practice my violin, it had good reviews, and cared about the non-sport related activities. The only downfall was the swimming pool. It says that every year that students will spend a week swimming. I can't do that I-I don't know how to swim.

I know, I'm disappointed in myself too. I would like to tell you the story about my fear of swimming, but that's not going to get us anywhere. I walked into the front doors of my school, and was greeted by many students around my age. There were about twenty of them waiting for the bell to ring. The seats were full so I sat on the floor. I didn't mind tho, it was clean. When the bell rings I'm going straight to the music room, to put my violin case in there with the rest of the instruments. I already met the music teacher, he does choir and marching band which I think is cool.

Once the bell rang, I used my previous knowledge to find where the band room was. I was able to find it but someone was in there, playing the piano. I really liked it but I don't know who is playing it. I tiptoed and turned the corner to say a blond boy playing the piano. I stood there and watched him. The piano is my second favorite instrument, besides the violin. To tell the truth I like all kinds of instruments, but not all kinds of music, like rap and stuff.

"Who is playing that song?" I jumped as another person came in and asked. The blond boy stopped and turned around. I looked at the boy that said it. He had brown hair and a cowlick, he looked very professional. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb people" said the blond boy. "I wasn't bothered by it, I didn't know anyone else who could play the piano so good" said the cowlick guy, yep that's his nickname. "What about you, young lady?" the blond boy asked me. I wasn't expecting him to ask me, so I got nervous. "I-I don't m-mind, I actually like the p-piano" I said stuttering.
