"IDs please." the security guard at the door asked as we walked up to the door of the Kappas house. I handed him mine after Alicia, he nodded and gave us access to enter. "Hey.." he tapped my shoulder before I disappeared into the crowd, "you wouldn't happen to know who's car that is would you? It's been there almost all night." he asked in a concerned tone while pointing at an all black Camaro.
"No sir, I've never seen that car around here." I answered to him. He shrugged it off and I walked into the house, Alicia had wandered off somewhere and the first person I spotted was that hunk Aaron Dennis. He was like.. a dream guy to me. That dark hair, those hazel eyes, his pearly white teeth, the way he walked, just everything. I was almost positive he wouldn't notice me, he never did. I tried not to think about it to much until he actually looked my way. "Autumn?" he asked pretty loudly setting most attention on me. "Autumn McNulty?" he said my full name this time.. then came Ryan, "You look totally different from how you looked when I left earlier... you look.. nice." he said. Like that's the best he could do but I couldn't help but to blush, my crush had actually noticed me.
"Yeah, it's me guys." I said not trying to sound overconfident.
"You look beautiful tonight." Did he just call me beautiful? Aaron Dennis just called ME beautiful.
As much as I wanted to scream, I replied with a gentle thank you. I could feel the eyes of the rest of the football team piercing my skin making me a littttlle bit uncomfortable. "I ain't never seen ya like this before." the leader of Kappa, Jonathan added on. I couldn't keep calm, I needed air, "I'll catch you guys later." I shyly smiled and stepped into the rowdy crowd.
After getting bumped into, stumbling in my heels, and hearing lots of wow, that's really autumn's. I finally made my way to the balcony where I pulled out a chair to sit, making sure that I pulled my dress under my bottom. I pulled out my phone and slid down the notification bar.
Lee: Wtf, I lost you.
Ry: Hi dork, are you coming to the kappas party?
Mommy: Me and ur father miss u so much.
Unknown number: Wyd princess?
I slid the bar back up, "Autumn?" it was Ryan.
"Yeah Ry?" I replied anxiously.
"My compliment was shitty, you look really gorgeous tonight, not a zombie anymore." he smiled, pulling out a chair.
"Tell me something I don't know." I said posing in my chair, "No, I'm joking, thanks a lot Ry."
"Mhm, you're welcome. You've always been attractive, an attractive geek." He continued.
"Ah shut up, here you go with your babbling." I stopped him before he said anything he'd regret. "I have to ask you something." I said unlocking my phone again, and going to the messages from the weirdo who I was hoping was Ryan or any of his friends. "Is this any of you or your friends mischief?" I tossed him my phone watching him scroll through the messages as he now looked disconcerted.
"What? Really? No! I'm not that childish big head.." he tossed it back to me, "Besides, looking like that you could actually score some numbers for real tonight."
"You think so?" I knew so, but it was okay to ask anyways.. but before he could answer my question Matthew, a member of the band, ran to the table. "Come quick, look at this shit!" he said with wide eyes, looking back into the house and then back at us. Ryan rose up from his seat and grabbed my hand, "What's going on?" I asked making sure to grab my bag from the table. "Idunno, lets go see!" Still with my hand in his, we walked into the house behind Matthew.
We made our way to the center of the house and to my surprise I saw Alicia dancing on Aaron. Oh wow I mumbled under my breath, not shocked at all, reminding myself again of how wild she could get. This really angered me though, to another level, I'm sure Lee knew how much I melted inside every time Aaron was in sight. I watched her dance on him and him enjoy and also his guys cheer it on until I couldn't take it anymore.
I disappeared from the crowd and made my way outside, "Leaving already?" the security guard asked. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired." I fake yawned. "You shouldn't be walking out here this late alone." he said probably noticing that my yawn was fake. "I'll be fine, thanks." I replied hot tears began to roll down my cheeks. I headed toward the gates.. why are you crying over a guy that knows nothing about you autumn? My inner voice asked me. I think that I was more mad at the fact that my best friend broke a girl code than the fact that my crush was enjoying her dancing.
I continued to walk down the cold misty street, tears falling down my cheeks and onto my chest. A car pulled up behind me.. I picked up my pace, didn't bother to even look that way. I didn't want them to see my terrible smudged makeup and plus I wasn't in the mood to talk. I figured it was just someone from the party who saw me storm out or maybe the concerned security guard.
"Hey, you okay?" the deep voice from the car called out. Mm, definitely not the security guard, I thought to myself before responding.
"Yup, I'm perfectly fine." I sniffled a bit.
"You don't sound okay." he continued to trail beside me in his car.
"Listen creep, I said I'm fine alright!" I responded angrily still keeping my eyes on the road ahead of me.
"Why so aggressive beautiful?" he evilly chuckled after saying that. At this point, I knew that it wouldn't be a good idea to go back and forth with this guy. I snatched my heels off and ran as fast as a cheetah ever could, his car speeding up behind me.. I made a left which took me onto a narrow trail that would lead back to the women's hall.. one that wasn't wide enough for a car to ride on.
After 15 minutes of running full speed. I was finally in front of my dorm room door, panting, nearly about to die. I twisted and turned my key until I heard the click sound. I entered the room, threw Alicia's heels to the side and threw my bag on the bed, flinging myself onto the bed as well. All I could think about was catching my breath.
*bzzz*
I was so tired, I forgot where I had threw my clutch too. It's beside you dumbass, my inner voice spoke to me.

Could my night get anymore annoying, I don't think it could. I was thinking up scenarios in my head about what I'd say and how I'd approach Lee when she got here. I'm glad she wasn't in my presence, I couldn't stand to look at her right now.
1:26 AM
I was now listening to music still waiting on Lee to walk through that door so that I could tell her a little piece of my mind.
2:43 AM
Still no Alicia, I know she's not partying that hard. Then again, this is Alicia we're talking about, maybe she is really enjoying herself.
3:49 AM
By now I was worried, bad thing was that I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I hope that she's okay, but I have to work in the morning.. I can't stay up waiting on her, she's old enough to know better.. maybe she'll be here when I get up.
So.. Where's Alicia?
