ALINA'S POV
"This is a bad idea," I complain, looking at my best friend ‐Isabella Nicole Reed‐ who's hazel brown eyes were focused on the road ahead,
"I literally just got out of a serious relationship, how the hell is going to a club gonna help me with that?"
"Oh my gosh, chill, Al," She smirks, tilting her head to the side as she pulls into the club's crowded parking lot.
"This is what you need right now, you and Sebastian have been dating for two years, you need a rebound guy." She clarifies, pulling the car into a parking space before we both got out.
"Rebound guy? That sounds so slutty." I mutter as we walk up to the bouncer.
Selena says something to him and he smiles, holding open the velvet rope, allowing us to go inside.
"It's not slutty, babe, trust me. Every women has experienced at least one one night stand in her lifetime. You've only ever been with Sebastian and if you don't find someone else to just get your mind off of him for a while, you'll dwell on it and be stuck on him for the rest of your life." She explains to me as we walk up to the bartender.
I raise my eyebrow as she orders something for us to drink, "Is Seth okay with you being out, at a club, on your OWN?" I ask, a smirk on my lips.
Seth is Isabella's lovely boyfriend, whom is also very protective over the two of us.
"Yes, he knows," she turns around, hands me a martini glass that's filled with an orange‐pinkish liquid, "and he completely agrees that it's a good idea to take you out and get your mind off of Sebastian."
I sigh, taking a sip of my drink before moaning in appreciation at the wonderful taste the drink has.
"Alright," I smirk, biting down on my lower lip, "let's have some fun."
"Well, aren't you beautiful," a male voice mutters as I sit at the bar table. I turn my head to the side, my eyes meeting a pair of caramel brown orbs, taking my breath away,
"I'm sorry, my name's Jason," He half smiles, leaving me breathless once more, "what's your name, sweetheart?"
I clear my throat, straightening myself up as I sit on the stool, "Alina .." I bite my lip, "Alina Rose."
His eyes fall on my lips, where my bottom lip is still stuck between my teeth before they lift up and meet my eyes again. He smirks, "Can I buy you a drink, Alina?"
"Yes, please," I smile slightly and my cheeks flush at the way he looks at me, "that would be great, Jason."
He nods, calling over the bartender and I let out a shaky breath, I can't believe I'm actually going through with this.
"I've never done this before," I giggle, holding onto Jason's arm as he walks me out of the club.
Bella left hours ago and I stayed behind, talking to Jason all night ‐ the conversation got easier for me, the more drinks I had consumed ‐ he then offered to drive me home but its not my home that I wanna go to.
He chuckles, "sweetheart, you better be careful .. wouldn't want you to fall, now would we?"
He wraps his arms around my waist, lifting me up as we walk down the front steps of the club.
As we reach the bottom of the steps, he places me down and I giggle again, "I like your arms, they're warm and safe." I mumble, holding onto his arm again.
Did I really just say that? Oh my god, I'm an idiot!
He chuckles again, stopping in the middle of the parking lot, turning to me, "you're so adorable," he makes another half smile and I flush, looking down.
His large, warm hands cup my cheeks as he lifts my head up to meet his eyes, "I'd like to take you home .. with me."
I bite my lip, a rush of desire swooning through my body, my insides clench with longing at the lustful look in his eyes .. lust for me .. he wants ME! I contemplate on what I should say before I find myself whispering,
"I'd like that too."
