I toss my shoes on the floor, run and jump onto his couch. Once I'm firmly on the seat I turn to see him laughing.

"Can we watch movies? I'm really not tired." I pout, enlarging my eyes. He's still laughing.

"If you start the popcorn, I'll grab you some new clothes." He says finally calming down.

"Okay!" I say jumping up. The dress really was becoming uncomfortable. Why did I do this to myself?

I grab a bag of kurnels and reach for the popper but I'm too short. The counter looks close enough to the ground for me to climb.

Once on top I reach for the popper and am successful. But I don't hear the low laugh from the doorway. I slip down and plug it in, setting kernels inside and grabbing a bowl. I then get out butter and set it in the microwave. Just as I turn around Izaac is a few feet away handing my some clothes.

I smile and he points.

"I've been here before remember"

"But you're drunk"

I walk up and put my finger to his lips. I giggle and walk away. I don't see the colour rise in his cheeks.

I look down at what I just put on. White sweatpants from our school, we have the worst mascot everrrrrr.
We're freaking sheep!

I look at the shirt. P!atd. I smile. Panic is what sparked our friendship. I sneak out of the bathroom and see Izaac still at the counter.

I sneak to the music player and grab the remote, slipping it in my pocket. I pull out the cd I bought him a while back. I press a few buttons then jump into the room...and slip and fall on my butt. He turns around and bursts into laughter. I roll my eyes and get up. I pull the remote and click play, slipping it back. I tap my foot to the beat and swish my hands.

"Back to the street where we began
Feeling as good as lovers can, you know
Yeah we're feeling so good"

I sing completely off key. He laughs even more.

"Pickin' up things we shouldn't read
It looks like the end of history as we know
It's just the end of the world"

I spin around and flash my smile.

" Back to the street where we began
Feeling as good as love, you could, you can"
I sing as he steps towards me. He smiles.
"Into a place where thoughts can bloom
Into a room where it's nine in the afternoon
And we know that it could be
And we know that it should
And you know that you feel it too
'Cause it's nine in the afternoon"

He then reaches for my hip. I suck in a breath, anticipating what's about to happen.

Suddenly the music stops. He holds the remote up to my face. My face drops for a second but then I laugh. I doubt he catches it in his glaze of glory.
"Go on, go sit, popcorn is ready."
I squeal. I jump onto the couch and grab the tv remote turning on Netflix.

"No Notebook!" He calls from behind me. I turn and pout. I settle for the first Harry Potter. He comes over and sets a blanket over me before sitting beside me, setting the bowl between us.

I didn't even make it through half. I fell asleep the other way. I found out because he left me like that, stretched out on the couch.

I feel like this chapter kinda sucked. I'm sorry. I got caught in the rain earlier and I think it washed away my ideas. This chapter wasn't really about Aquila I tried to develop her friendships a bit more. Hope it wasn't too bad.
