A/n I've been trying to post this. It's going to be it's forth time now. Idk why this hasn't been posting or working properly. I hope it works now.

I woke up to the sounds of London and wobbly carriages strolling on by, with the sounds of horse hooves clanking on the cobbled road. Outside my window I could see people pass by always looking like they are headed somewhere...  Unlike me, I've spent a few weeks sitting in my room and drawing, never needing to go anywhere since I didn't have any leads to whom "S" might be. That's all I want to know, who he is... Why he sent that letter to me. What does he want? I was lost in thought as my pencil was stopped on the paper. It felt like my mind was trapped in thick clouds as if I was trying to swim through them. "(F/n)?" I'm Finally snapped out of it as look up to my father while breaking the end of my pencil. "I have been trying to get my attention for the last few minutes... Is something on your mind?" He sounded concerned but he doesn't really want to know what I've been thinking. Well... It couldn't hurt. "Who is the person who sent that letter?" I looked him dead in the eye. All he did was sigh. "William is here to see you. Stop thinking about that... He's not coming back just let it be." He almost sounded like he was begging as him and William switched places at the entrance to my room. "It's been two weeks and now you show up without a word." I say to him turning to look out the window while placing my pencil and paper down. "I apologize, but I had many things I need to do." Always with a straight forward answer. "Why are you here William?" I face him with his suit and tie all prim and proper. "I may have a lead." I shoot my head up with surprise and full of the most energy I've had all week. I jumped off my bed and grabbed his arm. "Not here." I ran out the door full of adrenaline, down the hall into the shop. "BYE DAD!!!" I yelled as I pulled William out the door "Wait where are you g-" and proceeded to close it in his face. We went down to the park with my hand still on his arm and, with such force, threw him on the bench. I leaned forward so that our noses almost touched and sort of scowled at him. "Speak." I said as he began to explain himself further "I was working a case yesterday and in the memories of a very old man was a man he knew called John who went by the Nickname 'S'... Now that's not much, but what was peculiar was that the dead man was invited to the Phantomhive party that night and in his last moments was visited by 'S' whom stated that, and I quote, 'The kid isn't dead, you get nothing', then was stabbed." I felt that dark cloud forming around my head again as I slowly stood up straight. "You don't think..." I said as my had went to touch the place that had been wounded at the party. He nodded and stood up himself. "I need more. Can... Can you take me with you to your next case like this? I know it's too much to ask but I promise I'll stay far away and a... an-" I started to stutter "You are a reaper... Even if untrained, watching is not against the rules. I think you may learn something as well." He gave a small smirk I guess you could say. Even though he didn't show much emotion. I smiled while I felt that dark cloud dissipate from my mind. "Walk me home?" He nodded and we set off back home.

...heh, home.
