Nothing stirred, except for the two pairs of footsteps walking down the silent street.
"I'm tired!" One voice whimpered through the echoing night.
"Come on, we've been walking for only seven minutes you can make it back to the flat." The other voice replied.
Lighting their way was only street lamps, the sun had set minutes ago to leave the two in the dark.
"Why did we even have to go on a walk? It's late, and in London, are you trying to get us stabbed?" The whining voice spoke again.
"No! No no, I just thought it was nice out." The dark haired one shook his head, "And you need some exercise, from sitting on our couch forever."
"Hey!" The other playfully shoved him, making him stumble on the pavement.
The two carried on in silence. A car whizzed past them on the road, a dog barked in the distance and a door slammed nearby. The air was infused with food from the restaurant closing beside them.
"It's too warm out." The one on the right complained and rolled up his sleeves to his elbows.
"Well maybe you shouldn't wear so much black, it is summer after all." The left one scoffed back playfully.
"Whatever."
They started walking towards their front door, but steps away, the raven haired man stopped.
"Dan, you realize tomorrow will be the anniversary of the sixth year you moved in?"
Dan stopped at the door, "I guess, it's been a while. Thank you Phil, I guess- for, for being my friend."
"Best friend?" Phil stared right into Dan's dark brown eyes.
"Yes, best friend," he chuckled, "But seriously, thank you."
"No problem." Phil nodded, and the two opened their squeaking door to walk up the flights of stairs.
After getting into their rooms, the boys threw on their sleepwear. Phil heard a knock at his door, "Phil?"
"Yes Dan?" Phil asked.
"Will you watch a movie with me? Y'know, to celebrate six whole years?" He shrugged and leaned his back on the doorframe.
Phil nodded, "Of course! It feels so weird, it doesn't feel like six years at all." He followed Dan back into the living room.
They decided on Harry Potter, random, yet entertaining. Dan grabbed crisps from the pantry for them to share and the two took opposite sides of the couch.
After the first movie, the boys had started to fall asleep on the couch. Together they soundlessly fell into a world of dreams and darkness while the end credits played in the back of their minds.

Just a prologue, and not a very good one, but the story will get better than this and we will be seeing from both of their perspectives instead of third person!
I hope you enjoy my first human fanfic!
