"Angelina de lune!"
I jumped awake; I was probably late for school. My door swung open and there she stood: Athena de lune, my sweet mother. She folded her arms across her chest, looking at me disapprovingly. "Be ready in five minutes, Angie. I won't alloe you to be late for school."
I groaned and quickly moved to my closet. My mother was a nice person but she was very strict and disciplined. I attributed it to her career. Medical school was tough.
She graduated when I was nine. I knew it had been hard for her to take care of me and attend medical school at tge same time, but she had no choice. We were on our own.
My father was a huge blur for me. He left us, and Mom never explained to me why. Even though she had a temper, I loved her just the was she was. Shr always went by the rules and Irene help me if I did something wrong or didn't follow her commands.

The ride ro school was silent, which was rare; my mother usually lectured me about my unhealthy sleep schedule; I was more of a night person. I watched the trees ruch by through the window. Then I remembered Evan. I couldn't help but wonder what was he doing right now.

Was he sleeping? Why was I thinking about him this early in the morning anyway? He was just some annoying, rude boy I met on Internet. Bu he intrigued me-I couldn't deny it.

My iphone buzzed in my jacket pocket and gave a little jolt of surprise. My mother glanced at me coldly and quickly, and then looked back at the rode. I sighed. She was obviously mad at me. But I couldn't stop smiling when I saw that I had gotten an e-mail from Wattpad

I can't remove your disgusting strawberry scent from my wal. Bah!

Evan's message made me chuckle even though he was discreetly insulting me. Again. I quickly typed a reply.

AngieRocks: You couldn't stop yourself from messaging me, could you?

By the time he replied, I was already out of my mother's car and heading to the school entrance. Dozens of teenagers were gathering around while other's were walking past the Phoenix drop high school sign.

Darkpoetry101: Don't flatter yourself, girly. I'm just bored.
AngieRocks: Yeah, right. You were bored so you decided to talk to the writer you hate.
That doesn't make any sense.
Darkpoetry101: It does to me ;)
AngieRocks: You still owe me an apology. You know that, right?
Darkpoetry101: An apology? What for?
AngieRocks: Well, for many things, but your rude message about my story is what comes to mind right now.
Darkpoetry101: I won't apologize for being honest. Your story is cheesy. Admit it and move on.
AngieRocks: Honesty? You call tha honesty?
Darkpoetry101: Yeah.
AngieRocks: I don't even know why I waste my time on you.
Darkpoetry101: Neither do I.

I narrowed my eyes. He was such a Jerk! I was about to reply when I crashed into someone's chest. Strong hands caught me, and the sent on manly cologne hit my nostrils as I looked up. My Haw almost dropped to the floor in shock and I could feel blood filling my cheeks. I was in the arms of Shane Mason, The school's most popular golden boy. His hazel eyes were looking right intoy blue ones. His blond-brownish hair was messy in a very sexy way. His perfect features were envied by most of the guys in this school amd worshipped by the entire female population.

"You should watch where you're going," he said curtly, letting go of me. I stumbled backwards and lifted my chin, trying to mantain my dignity. "You should also comb your hair. Have you ever heard of hairbrush?"

My mouth opened in shock. How dare he? "Have you heard if manners?" I retorded, folding my arms across my chest. I was a shy person, but if you mess withy hair, you mess with my life. My hair has been a sensative subject fir me since my last boyfriend dumoed me becazse my hair was ugly. I was ten when that happened,
But it still pissed me off.
