EPOV
That following weekend I took Bella and CJ out for the day. We went to breakfast and then I took them to an amusement park, CJ had a blast and she helps my hand the whole time and Bella had the most beautiful smile on her face the whole day. That afternoon found us in the park on a blanket with a picnic basket.
CJ had fallen asleep sometime after we had eaten. I watched Bella as she watched CJ sleep a very happy smile on her face. "I love seeing that smile on your face," I told her, she looked up at me happiness shining in her eyes. I loved seeing the way her brown eyes shined. "What are you thinking about?" I had asked her after a few minutes of being silent and looking into her eyes.
She smiled really big, "You, me and CJ," She said smiling bigger. I smiled at her, "Oh and what are you thinking of that has to do with us?" I said to her hoping she was thinking about the same thing I was. She looked down at her daughter in thought, "I'm thinking about our future, about where we go from here" She said. I thought for a moment on what I would ask her.
"Where do you want it to go?" I asked and slide over so that I was sitting close to her face to face. "Forever" she answered. My heart swelled with joy. I leaned forward and place my lips on her and wrapped my arms around her. I pulled back and just looked into her eyes, imagining how she would look on the day we got married, her round with our child growing inside of her, her brown hair with slivers of grey in it. My thoughts were stopped by "Mommy, Daddy?" we turned to look at the little girl as she sat up and turned to look at us.
We pulled away as she got to her feet and came over to sit in my lap. "Can we go home?" She asked. Bella and I smiled at each other and then got up packing up the picnic items and headed to the car. "Do you want to stay with me tonight?" I asked Bella as I start the car. She turned and smiled at me and nodded her head. I laced my fingers with hers and brought her hand up and placed a kiss on her hand and head off to my house.
