I tried to describe my dream to the doctor as best as I could. I almost felt like I was going mad talking about it with her, but she did insist.
When I awoke it was 10:57pm at night and I was placed in a hospital night gown and had a 'private room,' best described from the doctor lady.
"The voice from the forest haunted my dreams, distracting me from what had previously happened."
"It was dark and pale like hands reached out of no where to pull me out from the void of sleep."
"Every part of me was wanting to trust these glowing hands, but there was something holding me back."
"It was almost like the void was angry as it shook around me, I felt like I was trapped in someone else's mind."
"The closeness suffocated me and the idea of being trapped made me feel going insane."
"I reached above for those hands and as I grabbed on they slowly pulled me through the black water and above surface."
Every time I took a breath she would scribble down some notes and tuck back a piece or dark brown hair behind her ear that had fallen in front of her green eyes.
The people around here were always stunning.
I had a couple of visits from people who were almost acting like they knew me, bringing flowers and balloons.
They all had skin that was perfect and in all different colours but not close enough to be called pale.
And there eyes all seemed like they were enchanted and brighter even if they were a dark brown.
Even though I wasn't injured, the doctor said that I was to stay until given the all clear.
By who? I have no idea.
After the doctor finished writing her notes she gave me a smile, "The Alp- Grayson told me that you had a bit of a panic attack in sight of his car yesterday too?"
I nodded, this lady's aura made me feel safe, like I could trust her with my life, but there was this small part of me tugging at my brain.
"My name is Dr Thompson, but you can call me Lucy."
I gave a slight nod as she put her notes down beside her.
"While you were asleep I examined your body, took an X-ray and all seems to be fine, but i could help but notice the scars on your back?"
I stiffened at her comment, "I don't like to talk about it."
I didn't like being blunt, but it was a touchy topic. Those long scars on my back also scarred my mind and I will probably never let go of it.
"I understand, If you'd like to talk to anyone about it I'm always free."
"When can I leave?" I was desperate to change the topic.
"I can show you to a room where you can stay until you have healed completely, I will bring you some clothes."
Lucy gave me another warm smile and showed my out of the private hospital room.
The room wasn't to far from where I was previously staying. I felt rude for slamming the door in the doctors face, but I felt like I was going to puke.
The floor out of the room was pretty simple so I found the bathroom quickly before emptying whatever stomach contents I had left.
Coughing my insides up probably wasn't a flattering sight and it didn't feel flattering either.
