Life was always handed to John Bolton on a silver platter. What added the cherry on top was, he was going through collage to become a President, a long drawn out process if you must know. Keeping up a image that was good isn't easy, especially with your family breathing down your back. Politicians made up his family, a long line of them. Anyway lets skip these minor details and move to where it all began.
It was a simple Saturday night in which John had been persuaded to go to a party by his friends. Such good friends they were that upon arriving ditched him to play beer bong. So John took to standing in a corner to people watch, a favorite hobby of his.
It seemed like a typical party, from seductive dancing to drunk people falling about. Nothing abnormal at all, but nothing intriguing either. John was starting to tire of this scene and debating on heading home when he saw her.
She was standing alone in a corner, but it was although she held the spotlight. Being short and petite a delicate little being. Her hair which challenged fire itself fell in soft ripples down to her mid chest. While her vibrant green eyes held mischief of all types. She had a light tan going on that complimented her and her white summer dress the flowed around her perfectly. She was breath taking, as though she held all the answers to the universe but in a soft blow that wouldn't hurt a fly.
John wanted her, and as a boy used to receiving everything he wanted he was bound to have her...right?
John took confident steps toward her, catching her gaze halfway. When he reached her he couldn't help but feel a strange calming sensation over come him. They both eyed each other before a word was spoken.
"Hi" her word came out airy and soft. Beautiful.
"Hi there, why you all alone?" curiosity getting the best of him.
She giggled as though he had made the funniest joke ever, "Oh because, I don't have any friends and wanted to see what a party was like."
Blunt. But was that even true?
"Really now? No friends at all? I can't believe a pretty girl like you wouldn't have any." He was sure she was joking.
She frowned, "Just because a girl is pretty doesn't make her instantly popular. Some prefer to avoid me."
"Why is that?"
Giggling again she got a mischief look in her eye, "if I told you, I'd have to kill you," she sung it out but he could practically feel the truth in the words..... but decided to brush it off. "Anyway, never mind that. I'm Delilah and you are...?"

That night started a long to be destructive relationship.
In the beginning it was great they did a lot together learning more and more about one another and before you knew it John insisted upon her meeting his parents, they adored her. John tried to meet her parents but was met with excuses, so he eventually gave up.
Five years had gone by of this young couple growing stronger together, John was twenty-five and Delilah twenty-three. Before things began to go down hill.
At first it was no big deal as Delilah told him it was family matters but her disappearing acts became more frequently and longer to the point where John started to control her. Telling her that he'd end everything if she didn't listen but she had no choice...in anything and decied it was time to come clean.
Far away from society she took him to revel her secret. There she reveal she was no mere human but instead a fairy...a fairy princess to be exact that was expected to rule over her kind. In order to do that a queen requires a king....which was why her parents had an arranged marriage for her.
John was beyond angry at the arrangement her parents had but couldn't a thing. Except wonder about the power their child could have....
But John never did find that out because he hasn't seen her since that day.....or has he?
