This is flashback is when the Black Viel Brides were still an underground band and weren't very popular. Alexus is two and a half years older than Andy Sixx.

FLASHBACK to 2008

"Alexus! Get up or you're going to miss your bus!" I heard my mother scream from down the hall.

"Yes mom!" I hated it when she told me what to do.

I took a quick shower and threw on a pair of zebra panties with matching bra. Pulling on my black sports bra over my zebra bra I made my way to the bathroom. The lights were white, pink, electric blue, bright pink and black lights.

I took out the hair chalk I had bought from Hot topic and reached up to section off the parts of my hair I wanted to color. I put a few streaks of blue and green in my hair and quickly ran my fingers through the areas with colour to spread the dye out. I sprayed my hair with hair spray and then washed my hands before making my way back into my bedroom.

I put on a pair of plain black skinny jeans I had modified by adding holes and rips that went horizontal across my legs.

I put on a black shirt that had dark grey, blue and green designs. Moving onto my face I added a dark and thick coat of black liquid eyeliner on my upper lid and a thin line of silver pencil eyeliner on my lower eyelid.

My eye shadow was dark grey and I had little cat eyes curling out in the corner of my eyes that made my green and gold eyes pop.

I slipped on my knee high dark grey, blue, and green converse and pulled my black hair into a high top pony tail before freeing my bangs and letting them hang freely.

I had in cross earrings and a cross necklace just like the on Andy Sixx wore in his video Knives and Pens. I loved that video. They were one of the greatest influences in my life. So was Blood on the dance floor. They made my life better than It had been before I'd heard them.

I walked upstairs and found my usual breakfast waiting for me. A pancake with a piece of bacon and a glass of milk. A $20 bill sat next to my plate. I ate quickly and took the money, placing it a bag with the rest of the money my mom had been giving to me. It was almost full and filled with spare change I received from my mom every week for a year.

I grabbed my flute and left before my mom could tell me to change my clothes. I stood at my bus stop along for around ten minutes until the old yellow bus came driving down.

I gripped my plain black book bag that had various band buttons on and my flute in hand tightly.

When the bus filled pulled up I was greeted by rows of empty seats. My house was the first stop.

I walked to the back and sat down in the single person seat. I pulled out my phone and listened to Black Veil Brides, a new band before another person got on.

I knew who it was the second they stepped on. It was the only person who actually talked to me at all. Daani.

Her real name was Daanilah but she told me to just call her Daani. Her mother was a successful business woman but she was barely ever home. Her father was a famous lawyer who cheated on her mom constantly and was also never home. Regardless the situation though, she still found a way to smile and be happy.

She always wore a new style every week. Today she was wearing a half-sleeved zebra printed shirt, short shorts with black leggings, a yellow bandanna around her neck and to top it all off wide rimmed glasses. She wasn't wearing any make-up beside a light coat of lip gloss. She rarely ever wore it, always quoting "The natural look is more beautiful."

This week she looked like a typical hipster. I dressed like any stereotypical scene.

We were both senior but she was two year younger than me. She told me once she was going to make a band but I didn't believe her. She never ceased to amaze me. Especially now.
