When I was little I never would have thought I would be where I am today. I have definitely overcome some obstacles that life has thrown at me.
When I was about 3 I started daycare, before walking into the building on the first day I knew on the car ride over I wasn't going to like it. I always hated being around people without my parents with me. I was scared.
I remember my mom telling me to take a deep breath(that's how she calmed me down) before walking in.
We walked down the hall to my room I finally met my teacher. She was nice. I don't remember her much but what I do remember is that she was the only person I talked to for the first 2 months of daycare.
After the first 2 months there was a new girl that was in my class. My teacher said I should be friends with her so she had someone to play with but I was nervous. My teacher told the class her mom got a job in the building next door so she had to be put in daycare because nobody at home could watch her.
The next day I decided to go up to her. Scariest moment of my life. She was shy, and so was I, but I spoke up. I told her my name and how old I was. She told me her name was Charlotte. From that day until now Charlotte and I have been best friends.
