The summer before I started junior kindergarten(JK) was pretty boring, Charlotte lived not that far from me so we hung out quite a bit but other than that we didn't do much.

When I started JK I was so scared, I wasn't going to have any friends in my class. I was nervous I hated making new friends.

On the first day of JK I saw Charlotte on the play ground! I ran up to her and gave her a huge hug. I was so happy we were at the same school. When I saw her she was playing with another girl. That girls name was Sarah, Charlotte introduced us and all of us became best friends.

When the bell rang my mom took me to my class. I hoped I was in Charlottes class but I didn't see her in the room when my mom and I walked in.

My mom had to leave to go to work so I got left on my own in a classroom full of kids that I didn't know. I was sitting on the carpet with other kids when I noticed someone coming in the door. It was Charlotte! Her mom didn't know where to take her so she was late.

JK was a breeze, I had lots of fun and made a few friends. The following summer was terrible. My dad used to get so mad at my brother and I for being annoying and loud. My dad used to smack me so hard upside the head that I would always get terrible headaches. He even held me up to wall by my shirt and yelled in my face to stop being annoying. I took most of the beatens and my brother got let off with warnings. I hated being the youngest child.

Senior Kindergarten(SK) started in the fall of 2005, I had just turned 5. When I started SK Charlotte was in my class but Sarah and my other friends weren't. They still went to the same school, we just all had separate teachers.

Charlotte had a birthday party in March 2006 and it was the first birthday party I ever went too. I didn't really know her siblings so I was nervous to meet them. They were super awesome! Charlotte turned 6, we had lots of fun it was just Charlotte, Sarah and myself. We watched movies and had cake. We even played a Dora the Explorer game on her computer.

I also started dance, my parents wanted me to be involved with something because they didn't want me to grow up being lazy and doing nothing. I loved to dance, my mom was definitely a dance mom. She had me on teams we travelled and saw some cool places. I loved it.

A little later in the year, Charlotte and I were finger painting and I wanted to see what she was painting and I went to her side of the easel and thought she needed to add something to her painting so I painted on it. She was mad at me, so she painted on mine. We were both mad at each other so we raced to the teacher. She tripped and I was almost to the teacher when she threw a chair at me! Charlotte and I didn't speak after that for a while.

In grade 1, Charlotte ended up moving a few hours away. I was sad because even though we got in a fight she was still my best friend. This is when my parents started treating me terribly.

I had no friends in grade 1. I would come home sad everyday from school. My dad told me I was unwanted and that I wasn't going to get anywhere in life without friends. My parents were mad that I couldn't keep friends. So I started to be friends with the trouble maker in my class. His name was Josh. We always got in lots of trouble and had to pick up garbage in the playground during recess.

I got sent home a few times and my parents were so angry with me. They didn't care if I had friends anymore because I was a bad kid all the time.
