Ellie usually walked home like us, so we all walked to my house. On the way home we walked in an awkward silence. I decided to put my head phones in to feel less awkward. I turned on Kitchen Sink by Twenty One Pilots and with out realizing I was rapping it out loud.
"Dude, how are you able to rap that fast?" Ellie asked in disbelief.
"Don't know. Its not hard."
"Are you kidding me?" Ellie and Alex said in sync.
"Woah" they say again.
"This is weird. We're almost there."
"RACE YA" Alex yelled than ran off. Ellie and I chased after him. He ran into the house to my room and Ellie and I trampled him as we tried to stop running. After we all got up and got our breath back we laughed so hard we were on the floor.
"What should we do?" Alex asked.
"Don't know." Ellie and I said in sync. Phil walked into still looking sad. I knew how to hide emotions well, he still was learning. I got up and hugged him. Then introduced to Phil to Ellie. I wanted to help Phil, but didn't know how. I gave him a sympathetic look and continued talking to my friends. Phil left to make a video, I wonder how everyone would react. I hoped no one would hate and make Phil feel worse. I pulled myself away from these thoughts and hung out with Alex and Ellie. We tried to stay quiet so Phil could record and edit.
After a few hours Alex and Ellie went home, I was tired and accidently fell asleep with my makeup on.
~THE MORNING~
I was woken up by Phil shaking my shoulders telling me to get up, I checked the time, 8:00. I had 15 minutes to be ready and at school. I shot up, grabbed clothes and took a quick shower. I walk to school and forgot to do my homework, hopefully I get some time to do it... I started thinking about Dan. The doctors never told us how he di- I stopped my thoughts before I got even more upset. As I got to school Alex ran up behind me and jumped on my back, causing me to fall down.
"Get off me, you twat." I said to Alex.
"Ooh that sass though" Alex snapped back at me. Alex and I walked to class as we teasingly made fun of each other.
After school Alex and I walked to the park near our school and tried to admire what good was in the world. We didn't think of much. We sat on the swings and just talked. It was nice to talk to someone who listened.
"Hey let's walk." Alex said as if he was excited for something. I got up with him and followed him. He brought us to some flowery field which made my allergies act up from pollen. He grabbed my hand and we went to climb a large, old tree.
I nearly fell as we climbed but Alex was strong enough for him to hold me up. I was surprised by his strength, I expected him to be weak.. not that I've thought about that. Once we got to the top of the tree we sat on a sturdy branch and looked at the world below us. We talked for a little while until we just stopped and looked at each other. We leaned forward each other and then I slipped and fell, Alex grabbed my arm to keep me up.
Hmm what would have happened if she didn't fall??? But anyways sorry for this rushed chapter and sorry for not updating. School and stuff. But WOW OVER 600 READS THAT INSANE THANK YOU -K
