*3 days later*

"You know what?" I asked him, "I've been living here for, like, 4 days and I still know absolutly nothing about you."

We were sitting on the floor in the living room with a bowl of popcorn in between us watching his dogs chase each other. You know. Cause we don't have a tv. It was actually kinda entertaining.

"Well. What do you want to know?" He asked.

I thought about it for a minute. "Everything. Your age, birthday, favorite color, that sorda thing."

"Well, I'm 17-"

"Me too!" I said cutting him off, "Sorry."

"My birthday is July 27. My favorite color is red. Umm...... I kinda got kicked out of my parents house."

He looked over at me to see my reaction. I imagined I had something like shock written on my face. "What? Why did they do that?" I asked.

"I.....urm...." by now he was rubbing the back off his neck with his hand, "kinda had... urmm.. sex in their bed." He looked down at the ground almost ashamed.

"Chill. It's not like I'm gonna judge ya! In the foster home I was in before the one you rescued me from, I did the same thing in the parents bed! And to make them hate me more it was with there son."

"Nice," he replied.

We sat there silently watching his dogs jump around. "You know, I still don't know what your dog's names are."

"OK, so see the brown one? Shes' a chocolate lab and her name is Persephone and the blondish collie who looks like Lassie, his name is Hades," he told me.

I rose my hand a bit. "Who's Lassie?"

"She was a really pretty dog on a tv show back in the 50's I think."

I nodded as we just sat there.

"You like greek mythology?" I asked him.

"Ya its' always kinda fascinated me. When I was little I used to name my G.I. Joes the names of greek gods."

"Aww that's precious!" I cooed, imagining a small blue-eyed Ty bouncing around making his action figures jump after each other.

After I got done dreaming, I started talking, "So. I was thinking, since Christmas is coming up, all I want is for this damn house to have some furniture. So that's what you can get me cause that is what I'm getting you."

I looked over at him. He had a smirk playing on his lips. "Who said I was getting you something?"

I could feel my face heat. "W-well I j-just thought s-since.........umm..... I don't know." I replied saying the last part as more of a whisper.

"Gosh," he nudged me, "I was just kidding. Of course you'll get something."

"Well, why not get started now so we can have some stuff in here before Christmas. It's only 4 days away!" I said jumping to my feet and stretching.

He looked over at my grinning face, "Fine, Let's go." He said standing up also.

We walked outside and to his Jeep and jumped in hearing a song with an awesome beat playing on the radio.

I reached up and turned it louder. I didn't know the name of the song but I knew the words so I thought about singing it. I mean why not he already heard me sing. So I went ahead and did it. Sing, that is.

After about a minute or so he started singing too. It was pretty nice. And in that moment I realized I really liked him. He's a cool guy who opened up his home to a random abused girl, fed her, and basically took care of her. This thought made me smile as I was so thankful he did this for me.

Breaking me out of thought and numerous song singings, we pulled into the parking lot of a fairly large furniture store. Then a rather disturbing thought crossed my mind. He has money right??

"You have money with you right?" I asked.

"Well, not quite. I have my dad's credit card." He said smiling and holing up a small silver hunk of plastic.

"Sweet. I've never used a credit card before!"

"Seriously?" He questioned.

"Yep." I said popping the 'P'.

"Well we are going to change that." He smiled again. Man this guy sure smiles alot! But I like his smiles. I never noticed, how he had two dimples just above his lips when he smiled, until now.

We walked side by side into the store and stood there taking in the places massive sets of furniture. It was beautiful in my opinion. But it was probably because I never really had much.

"What room should we start in?" He asked me.

"Um... living room I guess."

So we walked into a blocked off section and a sign on the ceiling that read 'living room/den'.

"What style do you want Ty?"

"I don't know. What ever looks good I guess." Typical guy response.

We searched around until we found a huge suede coach, two cherry finished end tables, a matching cherry coffee table, and a huge flat screen tv. Sweet huh?

When that was done we moved to the kitchen section and looked around there until we found a stainless steel fridge, matching stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and some other random utensils.

Then, we looked for his bedroom stuff. We found a cherry finished bed set that matched the living room stuff. It came with two dressers, bed base thingy, a nice sheet set, and a make-up table that I guess would come in handy when he got a wife. But until then it will probably stay in storage.

Then the laundry room was up. We got a matching set of red front loader washer and dryer and a couple of bins to store dirty laundry in and that sorta thing.

The next room was the dining room. Once again we got cherry finished table that seats eight, and a diamond chandelier.

The next was the bathroom. We decided to get a new tub too since we were having trouble with the last one. So, we got a nice looking shower/tub, a shower curtain that matched his bed. kinda. And a mirror.

The last room was my bedroom. He set me free and told me to get whatever stuff I wanted.

I chose a cute but simple, black metal bed with some elegant looking sheets and comforter , a matching black dresser, end table, and a coral colored headboard that i could tack notes to with some navy blue ribbon bordering it. So overall my room was perfect and in my opinion, it fit me well.

"Thank you for everything Ty," I said smiling at him graciously.

He looked looked down at me and smiled warmly. "Your welcome Avery."

We gave the store Ty's address and they were supposed to come later that day and deliver everything as it could not all fit in Ty's Jeep.

"Oh, SHIT!" he cussed stopping.

"What?" I asked.

"We still have to paint!"

"OK."

We hopped in the Jeep and drove off to a random paint store.

When we got there the first room we picked for was the living room, it was going to be a tan color. The bathroom was going to be red. The laundry room was going to be a baby blue. The dinning room a gorgeous chocolate brown. The kitchen was going to match the dinning room. His bedroom was going to be a deep red to match his favorite color, and my room was going to be navy blue with one coral colored accent wall to match my headboard.

So we were done. And we could finally go home!
